Animated alternative Alexiel! What are the odds of that... :o It's almost a pity I'm not her fan. This is the eighth time I've pulled an alternative (an extra Aria dropped from the recent giveaway), I have four leaders among them now.
The legendary pack saved from the GP finale was also pleasing, I got an animated Tia from it. Maybe now I'll even craft one up to a full set and make a proper forest deck, since I've been doing forest dailies with a highlander...

Yesterday, I went to Tier 2 on Rune to farm for the only decent Faction-specific spellboost card + just for fun (lol). To my surprise, I won three very convincing games, one close one, and only lost to Rune with a similar deck. Miraculously, I didn't face Sword, Portal, or Shadow, so the sample isn't 100%, and there were no board-control-focused opponents, who are always the main counter, but I crushed the rest.
Overall, it has become much stronger and more enjoyable on the Arena than before. It turns out the solution was obvious all along. Who would have thought that all it took was to get rid of most of the clunky, terrible spellboost cards, add more nukes with additional effects, create more decent units, and give them nukes and sigil generation?
With the release of the expansion, Chain Lightning rotated out of Tier 2 (which is actually a good thing, because it's not the most fun part of the class), but all the other cards are still relevant.
Abyss Summoner is the main win condition for Rune in this format, so it's almost always an autopick. I think I won almost all of my matches thanks to it. As far as I remember, it was even quite meta in Constructed for a short time... Budding Genius is basically playing a Golem at a standard cost and getting the Evolution back for free, because activating this effect is not a problem in Tier 2. The class also has a whole bunch of other cards that are good in this format, like Graya, Caliostro, but in general, Locken has already described them.
So, this is what you can do with it...
Now you're a Haven main.

But seriously, I'm not even sure if I really want to make it my main... No, I will definitely try it, but I'm so used to Garuda, I've been using him since time immemorial, and I've never had the desire to change him... The best leader after Mordecai!

I'll post this too; it's been a while since I got a five-star rating...
So, what can be done about this?

Is there anything memorable from these decks?
I saw a guy pull it out against me on turn 8, and I was inspired to do something similar. So far, I've only managed to do it on turn 10; the Destroyers weren't coming up. It was a bit of a shock to me that the "original cost" is considered to be the acceleration cost of the card when accelerating, that is, the Seer itself works great as a card for 10.
And all it needed was to add a decent, cost-reducing spellboost card for 9 and an excellent draw card for 7, which is essentially free. I'm playing Medusa more because I can, plus it can theoretically clear out various wards that block the Seer's path to the enemy. I think the Chimera is also okay.
But Mystery is still more stable, yes. Especially with the new teacher, which allows you to cast a Sorcerer on turn 9 if needed.

Who is stronger: Medusa or Vampire?
Urias.
