Shadowverse

The Abyss Summoner is the main win condition for the Rune in this format, so it's almost always an autopick. I think I won almost all my matches thanks to it. As far as I remember, it was even quite meta in Construct for a short period...

I remember once drafting three or four summoners, and I still lost with a 0-1 score. But that was still in the terrible bot matches, where there weren't any good cards yet. Everyone was complaining online that the arena was broken now, but in reality, they were just lucky, because losing a board for the Rune with its old tools was very easy, and a summoner on an empty board against a full board of some garbage deck, like Sword, when Isabella has 9 HP and Erika has 18, didn't really help. But now it's different, and now summoners aren't even that necessary anymore, because there are enough reach spells and because you can finally play a tempo game and have at least some board presence. I haven't played Omen at all.

So, what can be done about this?
