Yesterday, I went to Tier 2 on Rune to farm for the only decent Faith-based deck and just for fun (lol). Surprisingly, I won three very convincing games, one close one, and only lost to a Rune player with a similar deck. By some miracle, I didn't face Haven, Academy, or Dungeon, so the sample isn't perfect and there were no opponents with heavily board-centric decks, which are always a major counter, but I crushed the rest.
Overall, it has become much stronger and more enjoyable on the arena than before. It turns out the solution was obvious all along. Who would have thought that all it took was to get rid of most of the awkward, terrible spellboost cards, add more nukes with additional effects, include more decent units, and give them nukes and sigil generation?
