What’s the point of the Dragoon when we now have the Grimnir? They have roughly the same function, but the Dragoon doesn’t discard your hand and isn’t tied to having cards in play. Yes, it has weaker stats and costs a bit more, but it has a ward, and a talisman that doubles its damage.

The Dragoon deals more damage; you can’t pull off a Bahamut OTK with it. But yesterday, I took down a Disifth with Grimnir + Dragoon, and exactly one hit point remained after Grimnir. I don’t mind sacrificing a slot; I only have one Dragoon in my deck. But I admit that I might swap it out for something else in the future, for example, a second Izrafel.
And I don’t believe in Pendant; I don’t want to take Bahamut-Lightblast meta. But again, I admit that I might try it later, as the synergy with Grimnir is really great.

Funny. I was doing quests just now, and I took down two Oil-Rovens with Flair Adepts using this combo for some random crafts. I was just thinking about removing the worker, and he quickly proved his loyalty to me.
And hey, it’s convenient to take down Rovens like this; their full-HP heal doesn’t help against the burst damage on full HP, haha. Now I don’t even attack them head-on until the last orbs.

I put together a cool deck in Take Two using Dragons, got carried away, and ended up missing a crucial turn, which led to my demise...

What a disgrace.

It's just a bit difficult still; I haven't learned all the new cards yet. I thought that the 3-mana 2/2 unit with Bane would get Rush on Overflow, not Storm. I'm a bit upset.

Tox's armchair analysis of the first few days of the Arena.

Dragons are top-tier and overpowered. I won't even talk about it because it's just going to be a mess.

Blood is also stronger; I'd put them in the top tier. After all, they are one of the few that can break through a Dragon's shield in the Arena within the first 5 turns.

Swords - sorry, Erika, but I'm starting to lose faith in you. I haven't played with her yet, but I easily defeated all the Swords players with Dragons. Maybe she's good against Dragons, but I'd still put Dragons and Blood above her.

Shadow - they also seem to have become stronger and more interesting, but they get crushed by Dragons. However, they should play well against Blood and Swords, so they're tier-2.

Haven - I haven't seen them yet. I need to play one Arena match to see how Erissa is doing.

Forest, Rune - no comment. I think they've become even worse after the ban of Basic and Standard.

Shadow creatures also seem to have become stronger and more interesting, but they get knocked back quite far and take a lot of damage from dragons. However, they should perform well against Blood and Sword creatures, so they are tier-2.

Before the add-on, they shared second place with dragons among the best creatures in arena battles.

You tricked me, after all. =( I lost 2 matches without a chance and rage-quit. Forget about Swords.

You just don't know how to handle the best Shadowverse waifu.

Funny. This was the first time I got a legendary artifact from the expansion pack. I never got Bahich or Olive.

Yeah, later on, a better sword became available. But it still doesn't compare to what it was like before. The early game was nerfed quite a bit.

But dragons are still something special. I only lose with it when I make mistakes or when I'm up against a no-brain rush like Blood and Necropolis, and I don't have any good units in the first 3 turns.

I don't even bother with ranked matches; I don't want to lose my rank, haha.

The usual stats are around 1-8 attack and defense. These guys are virtually invincible... What a great April Fool's joke!

Good point, I was going to use it for the cockroach deck, but I don't think it's relevant anymore.

I think she's good in any deck. You can play her as a golem on turn three, or discard a serious card to protect yourself, and overall, she's a consistently decent unit.

What about Goveyn? Why can’t I add him to the deck?
