So, the creation of new towns stems from the fact that people have the ability, the imagination, call it what you will. And here, some people start trying to limit them, guided by the phrase, "If it's not going to be done, why clutter up the forum?" As it has become clear, the general opinion leans towards the first option: new factions bring more benefits than drawbacks. But it can always change. I will stick to my opinion, and I am glad that it currently aligns with the first one.

Of course, they are needed, but they must be well-designed to avoid any imbalance.

We need more factions; the more factions there are, the more diverse and interesting the gameplay will be!

What is the purpose of this discussion? Does anyone really care whether we need new factions or not? Do I ask my friends, family, or acquaintances if they want to read my new poems and stories? Or do you (anyone discussing this topic) ask if your creations are needed by your family and friends? No, we simply do it because we enjoy it (and let's be honest, everyone involved does).

And think about this: what if the vote had gone the other way? What if more people had voted "against" than "for"? It's scary to even imagine!!!

I suggest that we mutually agree to close the topic and return to creating new factions.

As for those who are against it... they will always be there, and there's no way to avoid it, and voting won't solve this problem.
We need to understand that such people, by not respecting others (insulting, spamming, etc.), lose respect in our eyes and will never gain it. So, is it worth wasting our nerves (which, I remind you, are not renewable)? And, in the end, if you see a meaningless message, especially one containing insults and profanity, report it to the moderators or administrators, and bring them down.

2 Draco: Creating this thread was a natural consequence of the situation at that time. It's difficult for those who weren't present during the discussion to understand what it's about, but back then, the question raised in the thread arose in certain places where a serious dispute could have occurred. To avoid spreading all sorts of off-topic discussions everywhere, this thread was needed. But, it seems we have achieved visible results, and it really should be closed. Dear administration! This is now up to you. Although, as Draco has already pointed out, the website management is currently operating too slowly. For example, a thread with the same name as this one has been hanging around in the section for a long time, and no one has gotten to it yet. I don't blame anyone, and this is a separate issue that is already being resolved here.

I read through some posts and realized that some experienced forum members like to stray from the topic! I don't want to offend anyone; I'm not in a position to do so. Those who respect constructive criticism will understand. It's a pity for those who don't.
Now, back to the topic! I personally don't have any ideas for new factions, but I enjoy reading other people's thoughts. A person's imagination can sometimes create truly amazing things! The more factions, the more interesting the game becomes! If a faction doesn't work out right away, feedback can be used to make corrections and create something truly interesting.
In short, let your imagination run wild, and maybe your ideas will find their application!!!
Everything new in this world started with an idea (i.e., with imagination)!

I think there should be at least one more faction! It would make the game more interesting!

As you may know from my first (or last) message, the topic was created not to find out whether other factions should be added to HoMM, but to determine whether such topics are needed on HeroesWorld, or if they are just spam and the like. It turned out that suggestions for new factions do not irritate visitors (in general) as much as it might have seemed, and it is not advisable to take any action regarding them. Basically, that's all.

I am "FOR" creating new cities, but only in a reasonable way, not turning it into a pointless "idea generator"...

I'm also for it!!!!

I'm all for new factions! It's always interesting to read other people's ideas (or share my own creative thoughts ;) ), imagine how it could be implemented in the game, and even try to create a mod... (even though I don't know how to do it :D). But! It should be a proper, full-fledged faction, worthy of being in the game. Harmonious, well-thought-out, balanced (at least in general), making a good impression, and, most importantly, truly ORIGINAL! It's always a pleasure to discuss such factions and help in their creation (at least theoretically).
