Yes, dear colleague. I won't hide the fact that your actions inspired me to do the same. I should note that in my NVS, many units (and heroes too) have received reworked textures. I hardly have any default textures left. Either way, if I don't do it now, I'll do it later. Because I know my audience well enough: someone will want to write to me about the fact that you, for example, or someone else, did an upscaling of the creatures. And they will ask me if I will do it for NVS. And yes, now I will. If this is not a subtle criticism from you, then thank you. If it is criticism, then in my defense, I will say that the idea of upscaling textures of objects and units from the fifth game is not new. Yes, I see that you wanted to do it your way. And that's great. I will do it my way.In general, thank you. Thank you for also following my project.
Now about the unpleasant.
I really messed up when I posted screenshots comparing the three mods, specifically with the screenshots from the Retexture.pak mod. For which, I apologize to justzmp and to everyone I misled.
Due to my inattention, I put the mod with the pak extension in UserMODs, which is why it simply didn't work, and the screenshots were of the original. I replaced the screenshots.
Undoubtedly, there are some textures that have more detail in places, for example, the cuts on the free cyclops. But it's 2k and without mipmaps, which is why everything is pixelated and shiny. And there are textures that are just inflated to 2k. Just a recolor into a blurry mess.
Small comparison

All this became clear when I decided to check the memory consumption, to conduct a micro-test.
I ran the "In Search of Beauty" map, where in the center it opens several random creatures of level 6-7, I timed a minute and waited without doing anything. And I ran a duel arena with an orc and a dwarf on auto-battle, also for a minute.

I don't know if this is useful, for general understanding, given that the game consumes up to 2 GB of memory.
