Many of them have points for insults, swearing, and spam, which were accumulated a long time ago, several years ago. Therefore, I propose "amnesty" for these points, i.e., removing them due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Who insulted whom, many no longer remember, and people are afraid to write an extra word so as not to be banned.

Of course, points should not be removed for some offenses, such as attempting to hack the resource. But there are quite harmless insults or swearing in the heat of the moment, which can be forgiven.

I think it would be better to give moderators the ability to manually remove violations that they themselves have issued. Or violations issued in their section. If a person has behaved well and decently, then they can be forgiven for past transgressions, but if they are not going to change, then they should not be forgiven.

But in the virtual world, the punishment for violations is the death penalty (a permanent ban).

A 10-year ban is a long time – it's enough time for a person to die and be reincarnated on the internet. That's a very long time in the context of forums (and not a short time in the real world either).

I propose giving a second chance, even to the most vile people, like map hackers and cheaters, after 10 years.
