Just a thought that came to mind.
In the real world, there are crimes of varying severity, and the punishment is prison.
But in the virtual world, the punishment for violations is the death penalty (a permanent ban).

A 10-year ban is a long time – it's enough time for a person to die and be reincarnated on the internet. That's a very long time in the context of forums (and not a short time in the real world either).

I propose giving a second chance, even to the most vile people, like map hackers and cheaters, after 10 years.

And unbanning people after 5 years who were banned due to the cumulative system of violations, with the system then being reset.

Yes, you can do this with a clone account, and not bother anyone at all. But if a person returns to their old "famous" account, the attention they receive will be completely different.
