I haven't tested Sylvan in the game.
Блистает там воздушностью прогалин.
Но между кедров, полных тишиной,
Расщелина по склону ниспадала.
О, никогда под бледною луной
Так пышен не был тот уют лесной...
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
...it's easy and relatively simple to do, provided you use the appropriate tools! It's like hammering a nail – you can use a screwdriver and/or pliers, a drill, etc., but it's better and more effective to do it with a hammer!
As far as I understand, my method doesn't differ from the proposed one at all – it's essentially an enlarged copy of the image, colored black, and placed under the image. The problem is that this method is ideal for regular shapes, but if you enlarge a complex shape, there will be mismatches between the image and its enlarged copy, which is used to create the outline.

it's a matter of habit and taste whether to use several files or layers!
I use one file but several layers (5-6 on average are needed for work). Why create multiple files when you can do everything in one workspace? But this is really a matter of habit/taste - perhaps the outline should be increased, especially on the left, where it turned out too thin.

So, basically, that's how it is – I finished with the icons, and now I'll start drawing the heroes – I have a few unfinished ones that have been lying around for weeks.

Well done! Now, I suggest we start with the heroines from Heroes 7; there are already three: Irbeth, Kifrah, and Erin (only the lizard texture needs to be finished)!

P.S. The fish-like face belongs to Osiro – everyone knows his story and connection to the Dungeon. There is a Naga hero model in the "Sanctuary" mod – the models are of good quality, taken from Heroes 6, but they still need some work because there is no flag. Here is a screenshot of one of the Naga heroes (there are other models in that mod).

The Dungeon needs to fix Ilay, Tralsay, and Railag – campaign heroes always have the same flag, regardless of their affiliation; in addition, Tralsay has a problem with the effect when casting (there is no purple effect).
The heroines from Heroes 7 will not have an icon that matches the model because they have shoulder pads and a different hairstyle; if the hairstyle is not important, then the shoulder pads will probably be noticeable. I will try to recolor them as I have the option.

Here's Yeshtar! :smile13:
Yeshtar looks completely different here – maybe we took them from different sources...

I take them from the resources of Heroes 5, but I process them! ;)
By the way, Irbet will have an icon from Heroes 5, but without the hooked nose, and her skin color will not have a purple tint - because the hair should not blend with the face!
I agree - for example, I had to get creative with Veligg's icon for the same reason - in the original, he is all one color. But I think there is no point in changing the icons of heroes that already exist in Heroes 5.
