That's some insightful analysis. A card that draws a card with a strictly fixed mana cost is one of the strongest things, especially if one overpowered deck (as I understand) is built specifically around a card with that mana cost.

They don't give them in the patch notes; it's just that Ben has started actively providing feedback to the community, and these comments slip out. At the very least, "counter with other decks" is definitely there.

The trick with cockroach decks is that having one cockroach in your hand isn't enough; you need two, ideally three. In my deck, I could theoretically draw 9 cockroaches, which almost guaranteed a great combo. Now, I can only draw six cockroaches if I remove the kittens and replace them with a spell. The chances are poor.
As a spell, I'll probably add wings to increase the chance of drawing a cockroach.
I saw a combo with Eidolon + rabbit with ward. It seems pretty good, although I just didn't have anything to counter it with.
Yeah, in the screenshot of Loc, another serious problem with Eidolon is visible – it destroys amulets at the end of the turn, not at the beginning. Because of this, you can’t play units with rush, storms, and there’s no one to evolve.

Right now, after various experiments, I've settled on a knight-based deck. It seems to be working well, better than before. It includes various cards costing 1, cheap commanders, buffs, Alberts, and so on. An additional plus is that matches, on average, don't take too long, haha.

Could you tell me what it might mean? That all the skilled players have chosen this deck and are playing with it, while noobs and bad players are playing with stronger decks, but they are such noobs and bad players that these decks can't win in their hands?
