Organizational matters:
1. Tournament leader – злой_романтик (ICQ - 296524052), organizational questions - skd (ICQ - 593626431); judges – Dima Surmay (ICQ - 263293484), Nitro (ICQ - 627769385), Dirty Player (ICQ - 408722873).
2. The tournament is official and regular, conducted according to the Rules for organization, conduct, and participation in HOMM3 online tournaments.
3. All tournament games go into the HoMM3 HW Player Rating.
4. After the start of tournament games, the tournament regulations will not be changed.
5. Disputed points, if any arise, are discussed outside the forum. For a resolution, you must contact the leader or one of the tournament judges via ICQ and provide daily saves, ICQ logs, and other necessary information.
6. A draw result for a game is accepted only upon review of the save and agreement with the tournament judges.
7. Tournament games must be played within the established timeframe. For violation of game deadlines, by decision of the leader and tournament judges, a player may be penalized up to disqualification from the tournament.
Requirements for participants:
1. Heroesworld players with a site registration date before 01.06.2015 and having at least 50 rated games are invited to the tournament.
2. Players with a general same HeroesWorld rating of 1600+ have the right to free registration in the tournament.
3. Applications from participants with a HeroesWorld rating of 1599 and below will be reviewed by the leader and tournament judges on an individual basis.
4. Applications from participants who have unconfirmed reports will be left without consideration until the corresponding reports are confirmed.
5. The organizers reserve the right to refuse registration for players who have repeatedly withdrawn or been disqualified from other HeroesWorld tournaments.
Rules:
1. Game version: The tournament is held on the SoD + HD mod game version 4.2+.
2. Patch HW_rulez 1.38 is used in tournament games (in case a new version is released, this point will be updated).
3. The tournament is conducted according to the rules for online games in Heroes 3.
Clarification to the rules: on XL+U templates, the "Mage Guild own" option must be enabled.
4. Restarts total 3 days (111+111+111 or 111+112 or 113).
5. Templates:
Panic, 2sm4d(3), Diamond, Mini-Nostalgia, Jebus Cross, 8mm6a, 8xm12a, 6lm10a, Spider.
A fixed template will be set for each subsequent round in accordance with the draw. Each tournament template will be played once in the tournament.
6. Choice of towns:
Each tournament participant will play one game for each town.
After confirmation of registration in the tournament, the participant must send skd via ICQ or a private message on the forum a list containing information on which town and on which template the participant wishes to conduct the game. The towns specified in the list are not subject to change.
7. Choice of color: bidding is conducted for the right to choose the color; the player listed second in the pair makes the first bid.
8. In case players who declared the same towns for a template meet in a subsequent round, bidding for the hero is conducted.
Each participant has the right to cross out one hero, after which bidding for the right to choose the hero first is conducted. The player listed second in the pair crosses out first and makes the first bid. Bidding for the hero is conducted after bidding for color.
Tournament Format:
1. Registration from June 1 to 20:00 (Moscow time) June 12.
2. Start of tournament games – 13 June 2016. End of the tournament – 16 October 2016.
3. The tournament is conducted using a Swiss system in 9 rounds. Each round lasts 14 days: it starts at 10:00 on Monday of the first day of the round and ends at 20:00 on Sunday of the final day of the round.
4. Within the round timeframe, a report on the completed game of the round must be made in the tournament thread to record the tournament result. In case of failure to comply with this rule requirement, either a technical result or a score of 0-0 will be entered for the matches.
5. Round dates:
Round 1: 13 June – 26 June
Round 2: 27 June – 10 July
Round 3: 11 July – 24 July
Round 4: 25 July – 7 August
Round 5: 8 August – 21 August
Round 6: 22 August – 4 September
Round 7: 5 September – 18 September
Round 8: 19 September – 2 October
Round 9: 3 October – 16 October
6. 2 points are given for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.
Places are distributed based on the points earned.
In case of equal points, additional indicators apply in order of priority:
1) Buchholz Coefficient;
2) Number of wins;
3) Head-to-head encounter;
If it is not possible to distribute places between participants who have a chance to enter the final stage of the tournament based on additional indicators, tie-breaks will be held.
Tie-break rules: template draw, random pair of towns + bidding for town choice and color choice.
7. 10 players participate in "Final Battle–10":
Winner of FB-9 Maretti,
2nd place FB-9 Aiwe,
3rd place FB-9 KobRa_RR,
Winner of the "Only XL-3" tournament,
Winner of the "Favorites, to battle-8" tournament,
Top 5 places of the OFB-10 tournament.
Additions:
In case Maretti, Aiwe or KobRa_RR refuse to participate in FB-10 – their slot will be taken by the player who took 6th or a subsequent place in OFB-10;
In case the winners of the "Only XL-3" or "Favorites, to battle-8" tournaments are among the players who took one of the top five places in OFB-10 or refuse to participate in the FB-10 tournament, the right to participate in FB-10 passes to the finalists of said tournaments.
In case the finalists of the "Only XL-3" or "Favorites, to battle-8" tournaments also are among the players who took one of the top five places in OFB-10 or refuse to participate in the FB-10 tournament, their slot will be taken by the player who took 6th or a subsequent place in OFB-10.
