Which installment of the Heroes series had the best campaign storyline for you? Auto-translated

Yes, in the second part, the plot is the simplest, but that's what makes it brilliant :)

And the funniest one is the plot of "Whirlwinds of War" :D

The best storyline is definitely in Armageddon's Blade and the original Might and Magic IV. This is from the Heroes series.

And what about Heroes of Might and Magic II with Archibald and Roland? =)
Don't forget this masterpiece...

And what about the second game with Archibald and Roland? =) Don't forget about this masterpiece...

I agree with you.

I liked the campaigns in the third game the most – they were cohesive, interesting, and had a good storyline, which I didn't notice in the fourth game, for example... I won't comment on the second game, as I didn't complete all the campaigns... And the "Chronicles of Heroes" were made for the third game for a reason, although I'm not arguing that they didn't do it for the later parts, probably considering the experiment not very successful...

I liked the Campaigns in the third one most of all — coherent, interesting campaigns with a good plot, which for example I didn't notice in the 4th... I won't speak about the second one, as I didn't complete the campaigns entirely... And it's no coincidence that Heroes Chronicles was made in the third one, although I don't deny they didn't do them for subsequent parts, apparently considering the experiment not very successful...

Chronicles is a miscarriage in the M&M universe. Mind you, the plot of the 4th's campaigns is very interesting if you read more than just the mission descriptions and the victory and defeat goals.

And what about the second one with Archibald and Roland?)

Roland appears a lot in AB, and his character and texts are very well developed there; in general, you read AB like a book (as is the case with the 4th), while Archibald is prominent in M&M7.

I liked the third game the most – both in terms of gameplay and storyline!

I agree!

Chronicles is a failed attempt within the Might & Magic universe.

Maybe, but the storylines in Chronicles are still quite interesting. And the main character is portrayed from 8 different perspectives, going from a fearsome barbarian to an American peacekeeper. That's how much effort they put in! It's a shame that they OVERdid it. But still, all the campaigns are interesting in their own way.

The Chronicles introduced several significant inconsistencies, and such inconsistencies are uncharacteristic of the M&M universe. This is because they were developed separately from NWC. The games set in Axoth were created almost independently of Van Caneghem. This is why the contrived plot of "The Price of Loyalty" emerged.

A question for everyone on the forum: Which hero from the fifth installment of the game do you like the most, and why?

Kha-Belekh. He burns.

The original Heroes of Might and Magic IV. TGS is mediocre, and Warriors of the North is a disgrace. Sorry for my harsh words.

I like campaigns with non-standard plots the most, i.e., not just killing some hero, collecting a set artifact, capturing enemy castles, or simply slaughtering everyone and then mocking their corpses:D. No, I like campaigns like those in Heroes of Might and Magic V the most; they are the most interesting to me of all.

I liked it in Heroes of Might and Magic V.

I really like the campaigns in the 4th game. Especially "The Gathering Storm". I haven't played the 2nd and 3rd ones much, so I can't really evaluate them:smile43: In the 5th game, the plot is interesting in my opinion, but I like the 4th one because you can do so much with a hero without an army...
