It was +25 degrees outside, and even hotter in the underground club without ventilation; it was impossible to breathe. You're mixing up the topics we're discussing. I wasn't arguing with him about the CIS tournament itself and its importance, or that the tournament meets all the standards of a major tournament. He started attacking me personally when I told him to stop being negative about our entire meeting. I think the motives are clear (Russia vs. Ukraine) and were influencing his thinking. After getting a feel for the CIS event I attended and seeing Merlin's amazing photoshoot in the neighboring thread, I came to the conclusion (of course, it's just my opinion) that a normal tournament that should have such a grand name cannot be held in such conditions, and I said that this needs to be changed. But judging by the conversations... I think most people will be happy with things as they are, since everything always happens the same way... and the point of further discussion disappears...
In my opinion, photos from CIS tournaments should be like this (photo attached), and not like Comrade Merlin takes photos of drunk bodies in various sleeping poses...asleep standing, or something else...
By the way, there wasn't a single person smoking! And beer was only after the games, and even then, in a sports bar while watching an important football match.

I'm just one of hundreds of viewers who watched the CIS-2016 streams, one of thousands of people who love and know how to play Heroes at a good level. I expressed my opinion and didn't insult anyone, unlike the "team that told the viewers to go to hell." As long as it's possible to go out and somehow (maybe even just buy) a victory on your doorstep during a smoke break in the most important tournament of the year for Heroes, then that tournament is worthless! If two players want to achieve the same result (it doesn’t matter at what stage the deal takes place), it is impossible to prevent them. The problem is that if you are already resorting to crime, it is not necessary to shout about it to the whole world.

Another option is to introduce a Stop-List for some people and simply ban them from coming to tournaments.
