I wonder, what alternative upgrade will there be for the Elves and Dark Elves?

Judging by the plot, the Elves will be Elves - Elementalist, and the Dark Elves will worship demons, so the alternative upgrade will be related to them (but these are just my guesses).

I agree with you about the Sylvan faction (I'm simply not interested in them); personally, I imagine an alternate upgrade for the Twilight Dragon as looking black, but with red-orange hues and glowing.

I think the idea of a third modification isn't that bad, as long as it doesn't turn out like it did with the 4th game.

And in the 4th game, there wasn't a third modification;) There wasn't even a hint of upgrades:D just a choice between creatures of the same level, and in the 5th game, voila: an old familiar unit in a new guise:D And no one forces you, for example, to sacrifice assassins for furies or minotaurs.

By the way, even though the fourth game had a different idea, it was a good one... it just had too few units... and that's why people often speak negatively about it.

There were enough units in the 4th installment. They could be summoned from the air. The idea of an alternate upgrade doesn't fit the spirit of Heroes. Although, if everything is done well, then maybe something good will come out of it.
Maybe they should team up with the developers of Disciples 3? They also introduced movement around the battlefield.

Where did you learn about the elemental elves? I didn't notice anything like that... where was it mentioned? I understand about the demons and dark elves, but I didn't get the part about the light elves...
