New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
The lawyer came up with a good idea. You step away for 5 minutes to use the restroom during your opponent's turn, and when you return, they've already attacked and killed you in the final.
As I wrote, of course, to accept a battle, you need to click the checkbox... the total time for all battles is useless; 8 out of 10 will lose it in the first fightback, assuming there won't be a second one... the optimal option is a basic timer for the battle + small increments for each action.
What numbers do you think would be appropriate? :)
15-20 minutes for the initial phase + 30 seconds for each subsequent action (you can add a minute in extreme cases if the remaining time is burned after the turn). If an action is not performed, the unit goes into defense, or, again, if a technical change allows, the AI can make the unit's turn (although I think this is completely unrealistic, since there is no auto-battle in player battles), and this timer is more than fair!
P.S. If you remember the "past," when switching from the Sod's law timer to the chess timer, there were also many skeptics and opponents, especially those who were obviously slow, and we had to wait 20-25 minutes for them in a match with a basic 6-minute timer. We got through that stage, but we need to move forward! It is these aspects that will lead to an improvement in the esports aspect of Heroes, and not your "balance" changes and super-hero versions.
15-20 minutes for the initial setup + 30 seconds for each subsequent action (you can add a minute in extreme cases if you make it so that the remaining time is consumed after each turn).
This should apply to each match separately. Who knows how many finals there will be, and if the opponent is slow in a "noob" battle, there's nothing you can do about it.
Well, because Yurist got upset, we will now think about a timer and develop this idea, asking them to create it for us, because you can talk a lot without action. Let's imagine an idea where both sides have a positive moral. One chases, the other flees. With a moral boost, the outcome of the battle will be easily decided, but it doesn't happen, and the timer in the battle runs out. But if there were a couple more turns, it would have happened. I completely agree with Cobra. You guys are too stressed.
