Attacked the computer. He met me with 4 medusas and 8 harpies in the Citadel ( + native terrain surprisingly ). Each stack was morale-checked twice, and I lost the desire to play any further.

I decided to play because of the three Cons on the starting Castle and three artifacts from the "Cursed Armor" set (without the sword), despite the severe lack of gold. On day 121, there were no Citadels or even Psionicists.
On day 132, I finally maxed out Dimera as an Earth Mage and got a Consul-level unit, and two more level 2 units. Then, the growth rate broke, and the main Castle was captured with a 1-5 level unit that hadn't been upgraded and was built up to level 7. But this didn't bring me happiness because I still didn't have enough money. Taking a Utopia was not an option due to Dimera's zero attack. I was left to fight for the planned Treasure. But the opponent's hero appeared there on the next turn, jumped into the Castle, from there he destroyed my chain of supply and brazenly built up his forces with Imps, leaving an army in the Castle. Dimera, whom Broghild miraculously didn't notice, didn't have enough movement points to punish him for this. But thankfully, we moved away, and both headed for the Treasure, where the opponent took a Utopia, and I also took a Utopia (what a coincidence!!), a Resurrection Scroll, and a +50% Earth Sphere. I now had a complete set of magic items! The opponent got good stat-boosting artifacts, and with 60 Imps and Air Control, he looked better than me, but I stocked up on Swamp troops, and the sheer numbers tipped the scales in my favor.
Describing the subsequent maneuvers would take too long; I'll just say that it was a good mini-thriller! Towards the end, the red player was running away more, and I was pursuing him uncertainly, hiding in captured Castles. On the last turn, Broghild decided to break through to the fork between the main Castles - he probably guessed that there were enough troops there (I was desperately short of gold, the map was very poor in terms of resources) - but I could fly too, and I caught up. In the final battle, I bombarded him with explosions.

There were many good heroes, with plenty of money and resources. I built up my Castle, captured a Necropolis, didn't hire any Necromancers, and teleported in some Ghost Dragons. But on day 123, an opponent unexpectedly attacked with 8 Angels and 5 Rocs on a mine. I didn't have enough money to pay them off, and the battle was a one-sided defeat.

I was stronger in terms of power, but I didn't cast the only mass haste spell in time and lost the game. My opponent shot me down; I could have gone for a different strategy instead of focusing on critical hits, as I had cut off my opponent from the center. I only had 250 skeletons, and on day 117, my army consisted of 1 vampire and 33 skeletons, but I took the level 21 castle. Thanks to my opponent for the game.
