Tried to contact Heroin, but my attempts on ICQ and the forum were unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the hospital and probably won't be able to play for the rest of this round.

I scribbled away, as I thought, magnificently: blue dungeon, all that. 2 stacks came + 2 native heroes.

But on 112 it turned out I don't know how to take a level-2 Conservatory in the underground. Out of 150, 40 Troglodytes remained :D

Then everything went downhill: Shakti leveled poorly, the computers bullied me, I ran 4 heroes in the first week because there was no gold. An annoying block in the first treasure zone.

The second treasure zone turned out okay, Shakti was completely disappointing, I saw Dessa in the tavern, leveled her up, immediately got Earth. On the second week I took a couple of Dragon Fly Hives and 2 libraries with Dessa. Saw Opp in the center — got really upset. Made me a bit happy with the sword +5 and Ogre Lords for 15 ghost dragons, but left all the meat and a couple of ducklings there.

But then a lucky streak began, on 127 I think I took a level-3 Conservatory with a miner at home, transferred back to the treasure zone to Dessa, took the 3rd library, and then behind the Liches — which I broke through with 5 angels on auto-battle — they give the entire 4th tier!!!

Next, I immediately take the Dragon Utopia, double mana, another 3 Dragon Utopias, gauntlets, boots, Dessa flies, stats grow like yeast. I also snagged the max Dragon Utopia from under Hel's nose. Built Bears in the treasure zone, upgraded them. Decided I needed the first turn. Initially missed Opp's main by a hair on 136.

Opp had Castle and Rampart computers, I checked with view, decided to try my luck on 137 — take Castle, upgrade the Archangels. I guessed wrong — ended up in Rampart :(

Moner's stats sharply grew on 141, I could have attacked in the open field on 137, but I chickened out, most likely for nothing.

Ok, now I know exactly where Castle is — I fly with 4.5k moves to upgrade Archangels on 141, having bought only Bears to avoid wasting moves. So I fly to Castle, and Moner has already TP'd from the center :(

I decide to attack. I have 13 Bears, 16 upgraded ducklings, 7 angels, about 40 upgraded Lizard Warriors with Golden Bow, Dragon Flies, stats 32 46.

There: 10 Archangels, 59 regular ducklings, 5 birds, + useless meat, stats 41 23, Speed Ring, Shackles. Fortress, fortunately.

Well, nothing to be done, I close the catapult, wait for him to make a hole. He just can't manage it :smile18: They methodically kill everything with Archangels through wait, and they even get moral every round. By the time the hole is breached, only the Bears, ducklings and 2 angels remain. Only 1 Archangel from retaliation and the birds with the ballista are killed there.

I burst through the hole, killing all the meat. On round 2, Opp removes the retaliation from my Bears with birds. I crash into the Archangels, starting with the Bears, kill them in one round, losing a couple to the ducklings. Then the poor ducklings die of a heart attack.

The stat advantage decided it, and the Bears were magnificent :smile03:

Had a good start with the army and air units pre-built. On day 3, I attacked 46 beholders in the underworld, blocking my only road with a level 2 scout, and I thought I had lost everything, but I managed to win with 7 air units left. I also managed to build birds in week 1.

I used Vokial as my main hero, but he didn't get very good skills at the start, so I gave Kyrre some experience when she showed up at level 124. She got great skills, and I could get the magic I needed from the magic university. I used both heroes from here. I went to one T-area where I took a tope that gave the earth book, dragon armor, and 12 shield. At the same time, I took a tower town from the AI and started to build a guild there. That guild gave teleportation, fly, and double damage.

I had been looking at the boots by a hive for a long time, and now that I could fly, I went for it, also to prevent the opponent from getting it since he had a flux town close to it. And since I was there and had great movement, I might as well steal the flux town, hoping he hadn't bought it out.

Luck was with me (if you ask dirty_player), or you could say the timing was perfect, and Taz was sitting there with only 2 birds, wearing the Horn of the Hammer and sandals. Kilgor decided to play on after losing Taz, but the next day, I attacked his town with his army there.

A cloak separated me from victory – I forgot to put it on in the Fortress Battle – I smashed the keyboard, and also broke a mug with tea.
