The new Necropolis building, the converter, and the dragon lair look good. The resource depot with the market is also decent.

It's okay. If you don't like it – there will be 100% fan-made texture mods for an old-school look of towns and units, Steam Workshop, duh. Also, I predict 100500 new towns and all sorts of other nonsense from fans.

If they include The Shadow of Death as a DLC + a proper ladder with ratings and goodies, I might even grind it. Though I doubt the latter.


By the way, I was thinking that when this event happens, it could be possible, against the backdrop of a surge in Heroes' popularity, to recruit newcomers through Steam for some international Heroes 3 resource or at least HeroesWorld with anglicization... but what portal? What anglicization? Some silly thoughts are popping into my head...

Nightmare. The style of the original trilogy, which I loved so much, has been mercilessly butchered. This isn't a remake. It's something else entirely. It looks like a cheap browser game. I'm out.

So far, everything suggests that they are creating a version based on the RoE source code. In this case, to enable even a somewhat serious modding capability, they would need to overhaul the entire game engine. If they were planning to do this, they could promise a bunch of bug fixes; but it's unclear right now.

I like it; they did a good job. However, it’s very disappointing that it’s only for PC and tablets. I don’t have a tablet (and what’s the point of having one?), and there’s no point in playing The Restoration of Erathia on a PC, even if it’s a re-release, when The Shadow of Death exists, and there are also HD mods in the works. It would be great on a phone, though. The last port for Android had too many complaints, and there don’t seem to be any options for WP. It’s not good, overall...

On HP (it's still alive, I think, yeah yeah :D ) there is an English version of the forum.
We can consider other options too, but the ideas are sound.

Regarding the pictures, don't wait and hope that you'll like them. Something new is different. Unusual and unfamiliar to the eye.
Will there be other merits? Well, you can get used to the visuals. As long as there's a reason to get accustomed to them.

I think the players waiting for this event are in for a great disappointment :D

I'm really looking forward to the iPad release. I hope the HD mod will eventually be available there too! The idea about new players came to me in a similar way as it did to Sticky. But who will implement it...?

The thought about new players occurred to me, the same as Sticky's. But who will implement it..

A noob who just started playing, but has watched streams, is taken. If they have no one to play with, they are advised to go somewhere and look for someone. That's how I, back in the day, recruited 5 people from GR into a Hamachi network for 256 players. Now they're on HeroesWorld.

Or we ourselves go there, play with noobs — they see that HeroesWorld is cool and come here themselves. And maybe someday the game Heroes 3 will become a sport.
