I think this is due to the change in the color scheme.
Select the 32-bit True (stretchable) GDI renderer in the launcher, and the color scheme will not change. In general, for modern, reasonably powerful hardware, we recommend this mode (not the fastest, but the highest quality, most functional, and most stable).
We created a virtual network using Hamachi with my husband, logged into Heroes, joined a general game, everything was set up correctly, we selected a scenario, and when he clicked the "Start" button, he received the following critical error (we tried several times, it crashes every time, and we haven't been able to play).

Basically, here's the issue: I switched internet providers and now I'm using Wi-Fi. I tried playing Heroes with an HD mod, but I can't connect to anyone, no matter what. The connection with a player in the WT mod is stable, and in Heroes without the HD mod, it's also stable. But when connecting to a player through the mod, it says: on my end, that the IP address wasn't found, and on the opponents' end, it shows an "unknown error." I opened a bunch of different ports in the router, but it didn't help.
UPDATE: The problem was solved by creating a shortcut in the launcher, so I won't delete the message, in case it helps someone.
An issue occurred in battle. The pikeman, resurrected by the archangel, couldn't defend – neither by using the defense button (pressing it does nothing) nor by pressing the spacebar. The only option was to move him away.
When the "superpack" is enabled, there is no reaction to the template located in the Data folder. It is simply ignored. But as soon as you disable it, everything works fine.
*Hateling, you should update your version from 3.27 to 3.716.
Сейчас балуюсь этим https://vcmi.eu/download/ За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того

The same crash occurs in the updated version. I can update it further and, if needed, provide the crash log for version 3.716. When I downloaded the HOMM 3 HD distribution, I updated it immediately, and the crashes started. Then I installed the previous version, hoping to avoid errors, but it was hopeless.
