There's another question. I'm using the latest version of the HD mod, but it turns out that it lacks several useful features that I saw in streams, for example, the range of movement of enemy creatures is not visible in battle, and it doesn't show the number of movement points for heroes. There may be other missing functions, but I haven't noticed them yet. Is this enabled somewhere in the HD mod menu, or is it a separate program?

Hello everyone, I have a question about daily saves. In the corresponding topic, there are 3 save options: HD mod, manually after each day, some kind of program. I have HD+, but there are no daily saves; is this configured somewhere in the launcher? It's too much trouble to save manually every time, and I've repeatedly seen many players with a bunch of old saves during streams – how do they do it?

I don't think so. It seems Gauss is also saying hello here :) As far as I understand, the damage from each unit is calculated separately and then summed up. IMHO, based on my personal observations.
Whoa, that's unexpected. If I understand you correctly, in the case of, for example, 3 air units, we are dealing with 3 random selections from the range [2;8] with subsequent summation? So, for the first one, let's say it chooses 3, for the second 6, for the third 4, and in the end, the total damage will be 13? Is that how it works?

I downloaded Heroes (most likely) from the website listed in the launcher's "Information" section. I thought the problem was in the settings (I think it might be that Heroes works incorrectly in a certain configuration), so I decided to set everything in the launcher exactly as the streamer does, who always has this damage displayed.
The only difference, as far as I can tell, is the version: he has 3.673 written at the top, and I have 3.700, BUT: 1) I don't think the developers suddenly decided to remove the damage display in the new version, considering it an unnecessary feature; 2) Heroes has been updated many, many times, and I'm sure I've had version 3.673 as well, and the probability that the damage was not displayed THEN due to a faulty launcher configuration, and NOW because of the updated version in which it was removed, is, as you can imagine, EXTREMELY LOW.
Everything else, except for the version, is exactly the same as the streamer's, down to the version of the SuperPack plugin and the language. A screenshot of the launcher and a piece of the ini file are attached.
What could be the problem? Maybe, despite having the same launcher, the streamer has something else/installed it differently (maybe SoD, and then the HD mod on top, for example; I don't understand it very well yet ;))?
P.S. I tried setting it to "default", the same thing happens. System: Windows 7 32-bit. I also noticed that sometimes even the information about the neutral unit's range is not displayed (reloading the save file solves this problem, by the way)
За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
Comrades, I have a problem: the damage range dealt by a stack is not displayed. Digging through search results for 5 minutes led me to an answer to Stopmer's question (which is good because it’s an interesting question and relevant to me as well), but not to my own question.
Whoa, unexpected. If I understand you correctly, in the case of, for example, 3 air elementals, we are dealing with 3 random selections from the range [2;8] with subsequent summation? So, for the first one, let's say it chose 3, for the second 6, for the third 4, and in the end, the total damage will be 13? Is that how it works?
This question has already been raised.

If the number of creatures is no more than 10, then the damage from each of them is dealt independently.
If the number of creatures is greater than 10, then the damage from 10 independent units is calculated, after which the total damage is multiplied by N/10, where N is the number of creatures in the stack.
2. On the map, there are many structures, such as utopias, conservatories, etc., and you can check the number of guards without entering them. But there are structures that cannot be checked, for example, a crypt. What should you do in this case? Wait or sacrifice a weak hero in an attempt to check it? I am especially concerned about the question regarding the Pandora's Box. On the one hand, it seems that you can check it by sacrificing some unnecessary hero, but on the other hand, there is a chance of getting 15k experience, and they will not be used as intended.
3. A question that follows from the previous one. What should you do with scholars on the map? Take the risk?
I recently had a situation. The hero was leveled up to level 12, and 6 slots were filled with secondary skills. Well, I thought the probability of getting something useless was close to zero. I took a scholar and got... necromancy. Oh. I was playing as the Swamp Castle.
4. Are there any templates for small maps? Do all online players only play on large maps? Among the available templates, I found only 2 for medium-sized maps... It's a pity. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place? Please advise.
