It's relevant because we're talking about hero development tactics. If a mage, let's say from the Sylvan faction, learns at least two more schools of magic, he officially becomes an Archmage and receives a bonus to his title. But if a Barbarian learns Tactics and Scouting, what will he become? And what bonus will he receive?
Considering we're talking about hero development tactics. If you initially develop a mage, let's say a Nature mage, and then further develop at least two more magic skills, they officially become an archmage and receive a bonus to their title. But if a Barbarian develops Tactics and Scouting, what will they become? And what bonus will they receive?
Not all heroes can become archmages. And is it even necessary? An archmage receives a +20% bonus to spell power. But they lose their previous bonus. If you need an increase to the power of all spells, take Chaos magic and develop the "Spell Weaving" skill.
I’m not suggesting making everyone an Archmage. I usually have one, maybe two at most! And that’s enough for me… The bonus is lost, but at least the Archmage gets a new skill, while a hero with Battle, Tactics, and Scouting won’t get anything.
What are we even arguing about? The topic isn't about that! And an archmage is just a hero with a spellbook that resembles the "Great Soviet Encyclopedia." With such a tome, you could smack some harpy right in the face... :D Anyway, I agree with you. We should summon as many creatures as possible. And an archmage + a well-developed Chaos magic skill gives a huge bonus to summoning power. The question is: what other magic should we take for our nature mage?

We need to take death magic to upgrade demonology. And it gives a bigger and more diverse summoning bonus:D
The question is different: what other magic should we take for our nature mage?
Again, it depends on the circumstances... on the opponent... But there are two decent initial options: 1) Nature+Death+ and if we're talking about increasing spell power, then Chaos That is, in the first stage we have a druid, then a demonologist (+50% to the effect of demon summoning spells), and with chaos magic already an archmage, who receives +20% to the effect of casting all spells (I emphasize all) 2) Nature+Order+Chaos First also a druid, then a Conjurer! A very good guy, I recommend him, because he receives 20% to the power of creature summoning and illusion spells (I emphasize Illusions too!), and Chaos to strengthen all spells already.
In general, other combinations can be used. For example, instead of Chaos it can be useful to take Life...
Illusions, Haven is messing things up again... :( What I like about Sylvan is that the hero is a fighter, just like the Barbarian with a strong combat skill! :D
But in practice, separating experience between a mage and a fighter isn't very effective.
For a Barbarian, there's only one type of hero – a fighter. All experience goes to him. But in reality, it would be more effective to level up the mage.
I think it's best to combine them in gameplay! :) For example, the druid's first turn: He casts Dragon Strength on the archer, and then the archer shoots! :D
elves, because they are almost the only archers, and they are more useful griffins are stronger than unicorns, and their skills are better dragons are irreplaceable, with their magic... forgetfulness is a good thing!

You could take, for example, a chaotic nightmare creature, run to the elves - and they're doomed, while griffons are so-so, I easily defeated them with berserkers... And about dragons - that's for sure!
you know, elves have magic specifically against creatures like Nightmares and the like. =)) It's called Quicksand, and you can also buy and summon water elementals... and the Nightmares will just stand there and watch for the whole battle. =)) + dragons can cast Forgetfulness.
