In player cities with a Fortress, a level 2 dwelling is built by default with a 30% probability. This does not depend on the faction or any other factors.

Thanks for the game.
if it weren't for this "other imbalance," you and I could even sign up for Tournaments-
"it's all the same as shaving a pig—lots of squealing, but little hair!"
I confirm, the starting army is weak, but a decent set of heroes + the respawn itself being cozy convinced me to give it a try. Alas, on 117 due to inattention I missed a stack hidden by the terrain and was 100 gold short for the birds. Otherwise there were 5 Griffin Conservatories, a Dragon Fly Hive — all already scouted.
Thanks for the game.

Did I understand correctly that you surrendered in a game with 5 Cons only because you didn't put birds on the first?
Why? Because there is no way to take these 5 Cons without birds. 5 psychos, 2 birds, a dozen and a half flyers, and a mediocre hero—it's not even certain they can take a second town, let alone others. Maybe I'm a nub and don't know how to use Conservatories, that's quite likely, but I don't think these troops are suitable for such purposes.

Maybe I'm a noob and don't know how to take Conservatories.
For example, in the War of the Tower, players almost never build Aviaries on level 1; instead, they use Psychics. Moreover, there are enough Psychics in the castle even to reach the maximum number (see /topic/7744/, although there is slightly more Air and Water magic there, and Psychics can be upgraded, so a direct comparison is not entirely accurate).
However, for a Conservatory of level two and your troops, it will be sufficient with a margin, even without mass spells. And if you have a Pope with good stats and Blind, then I think you can even handle a level three map, unless they start spamming morale-boosting spells.
Well, a level 2 Consort will definitely be effective in the SoD. And it will be easier after that.
За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
Exactly.
However, for a console-level difficulty and your troops, it should be more than enough, even without using a lot of spells. And if you have a Pope with good stats and the Blind spell, I think you can even handle a difficulty level 3, unless they start spamming mass morale spells.

I tested it: 5 Psionicists, 15 Air Elementals, 10 Fire Elementals, 8 Earth Elementals, 2 Phoenixes, and a few Sprites are exchanged for 2 Angels: 5 Psionicists, 2-3 Air Elementals, 2-3 Fire Elementals, and 2 Angels remain. The hero has almost zero Piercing Attack: 3, 4, 1, 3, with a book, and I bought another one on day 111; it gave Haste, Slow, and an arrow. What is the approximate battle formation? Because in theory, it's clear that you need to gather 2-3 stacks of Phoenixes around the Earth Elementals or some other damage dealer, and then what? 5 Psionicists barely kill a quarter of a stack... And suddenly, I realized that Griffins peck at my Phoenixes in the first rounds. I also don't know how to deal with that.
well, that's assuming he didn't build up a huge army by week 2 :)
