Yes, you understood correctly, I surrendered only because I didn't put birds on the first.
Why? Because there is no way to take these 5 Cons without birds. 5 psychos, 2 birds, a dozen and a half flyers, and a mediocre hero—it's not even certain they can take a second town, let alone others. Maybe I'm a nub and don't know how to use Conservatories, that's quite likely, but I don't think these troops are suitable for such purposes.
