A team of one person. That's just unbelievable. It's as if there's a difference between having one person in a section or three, where only one person actually visits the forum. But what really needs to be done is to pay attention to moderators who haven't appeared on the forum for months or even years, and not wait until they deign to post in a topic about relinquishing their duties. I don't often agree with Querty, but in this case, he is 100% right. Each section, or almost each section, has a moderator or a team of moderators who oversee all the affairs of the section. And it is he (they, if it's a team) who should select a candidate if he (they) sees the need.

The moderators of a section are a team. The team is selected by the (playing) coach; it is not the result of a fan vote.
I am responsible for my section, and for the absence of other moderators in my section – I am. If there are none, I must ensure that everything is in order. And if someone is assigned to my section by vote, I will not be able to be responsible for their actions.

I completely agree. I personally select the moderators for each section with 3 heroes, and I consult with other moderators. It is very important that the moderator is a reasonable person, and not someone who simply received more votes from friends, and then started assigning points to everyone and participating in conflicts.
