How could Kirdu improve this map?
You could make the computer a bit stronger; it feels like only I'm getting a unit boost. Or maybe I shouldn't have played with Conflux, as the Phoenixes are too overpowered.
Regarding the city portal, I don't think it will be that critical on this map.
Those who don't believe it should first play through this map for general knowledge, and then allow the City Portal on it and play through it again. The difference will be very big!
What else from my impressions and factors that slowed down and made the Walkthrough more difficult, I want to mention: I had such an unlucky draw that Resurrection was only in 2 Castles of the Humans, who already have Archangels!:( Outrageous unfairness! And I only learned Resurrection shortly before the end - it did bring some benefit, but there was little point in Dimension Door and Flight: it only shortened the final day by 3...
Kird, I will repeat what I said earlier: it is undesirable on a large map with such a high density of placement to place an artifact that is significant for the Walkthrough (necessary for the first victory condition) not explicitly, but in an event or with a monster! Not so long ago, I was playing through a map and got stuck almost at the very end when the guardian demanded an artifact from me that I not only didn't have but couldn't find anywhere on the map: the editor, when trying to search, said that "this object is not on the map." But in reality, it was there, only with a monster. And to find this monster, I had to resort to a slow and tedious method suggested by one participant on some forum: we clear the map in small pieces until, when checking, a message appears that this artifact is missing from the map. After that, we study all the events and monsters in this area and find the coveted artifact!

Besides, I still don't understand how to deal with "bans" and "permissions" for magic – it doesn't seem to work correctly for me. I've already written about this, but I still haven't figured it out. For example, I ban spells in the map settings, which prevents them from randomly appearing in pyramids and scholars. This doesn't affect cities globally – I remember how it was in "Land of 1000," and it was very frustrating. However, now, on the contrary, by manually banning everything I need in the cities, I make the appearance of a spell in one of them mandatory – and, in the end, I still don't find it. What should I do? Allow it globally and remove all scholars and all pyramids?
Regarding the Legion Head, which, as I understand, wasn't found. I hoped this wouldn't be a problem. First, the location of the creatures is very similar to their location in one well-known Heroes game map. I thought this kind of joke should draw attention to it. Second, they don't guard anything there, which means they must have something, and something valuable, since there are so many of them. That should also have given a hint. And I also scattered a few clues there – rumors, some messages, like on bottles, in side quests, etc.
Thank you for your feedback and comments!

alextet, try starting with a pre-made save file: this often helps in such cases. I'm attaching my save file:
got caught in Kird's trap and decided to level up to 45 to take the entire statue, but its guard is definitely too much.
