The campaigns from Heroes of Might and Magic III evoke a pleasant sense of nostalgia. I still have save files from 10 years ago on my disk. I look at them and remember how great it was to play. )
But I haven't really played the others much.
The campaign for the Dragon is really cool, as is the one for the young Christian + Seeds of Discord. Those are the ones I remember the most.
Well, I'll also check out Heroes of Might and Magic V when I finish the campaign for Heroes of Might and Magic VI.

As for the Chronicles, they didn't really click with me. I managed to get through Elemental Lords, and in 2006, I bought (for 30 rubles) a disk on sale with Ice Crown and Armageddon - it's still unopened in its cellophane cover on the shelf.

In Heroes 3 and 5.

In Heroes 3, there's a lot to do, but in Heroes 5, there's even more, and it's also good :D.
P.S.: Also, in Heroes 4, the campaign for Lord Lysander is pretty good.

I liked the storylines in Heroes 3, 5, and 6 the most.

Perhaps, for me, the third game is also in first place; the fifth game has a decent plot, but, personally, I think it's not as good as the plot in the third game. P.S. And yes, I have to agree with bobchik; I didn't really get into "Chronicles" either, unlike the regular third game. My desire to play "Chronicles" disappeared after just a couple of missions, unfortunately.

I don't know about everyone else... but I like the fifth game!!! :smile20:

The original 5th installment is the best. And the ending is perfect. But in the expansions, they overcomplicated things, and it all went downhill. Plus, there are many inconsistencies in the plot.

I like Heroes 4 more. Why? It's like a culmination of the old world, as if a final chapter. The events of the previous games echo in the plot of the fourth installment. It's as if woven from two pieces of fabric: we see a new plot, but the previous part, the old, lost world, shines through. And besides, when you read the "story" texts, you delve into them, like an interesting book. That's why I like the fourth game: for its touching story.

The 6th ones are the worst: few maps, unrealistically long missions, only 3 types of resources, and a bad plot.

In the fifth installment, the original storyline is the most interesting. I didn't like the dwarves' storyline at all; I only enjoy playing as the orcs because there are orcs in it.
