The patch is great. It's not just that the cursor stopped blinking, but also that saves now load almost instantly! I mean, before, as soon as a save was loaded, we would see the landscape gradually appearing, then the objects on the map, then the monsters, and finally the towns and heroes. Now, everything loads at the third stage!
I've seen Phoenixes in battle. These undead creatures, even in "Heroes of Might and Magic VI", have become real monsters. They are immune to magic (!), have an ability similar to "Fire Shield" (!!), deal massive damage (!), and this damage cannot be healed (!!!). Resurrection is present, but it's not fully implemented. When they die, Phoenixes freeze and are considered destroyed – resurrection doesn't work. Overall, it's better to befriend these birds ;).
Hey everyone, sorry if this is off-topic... Can someone explain to this clueless Orc what "Conflux" is, how to register, and what it's all about? I've searched the entire internet, but I can't find anything useful. In Heroes 6, I want to create a profile, and they say to restart the game and go to Conflux... Please help. What should I do?
In the Inferno campaign, there were definitely Phoenixes in the third mission. I encountered them there. These birds are really tough, although they were only good for a couple of attacks against my army (considering their numbers). Perhaps, among the neutral creatures, Fire Elementals are also unpleasant in this regard.
Based on your description, the bug with the phoenix’s incorrect rendering has been fixed. (It’s possible that it was fixed even earlier in beta 1.4, but I didn’t check).
Аксиома Коула: Общая сумма разума на планете - величина постоянная, а население растет... Асха все обращает на пользу... :smile16:
I encountered several flocks of phoenixes in the third mission of Necropolis. Is this a bug with incorrect rendering? Death is displayed somewhat strangely, but the flight of the phoenixes is magnificent – they are very proud birds :).
By the way, their initiative was high – they moved before the Weavers of Fate. And their speed was moderate, yes. But in "Heroes 5," at least resurrection worked – now, the damage from phoenix attacks cannot be healed in any way! Therefore, in one battle with a hundred birds, I lost fifty Archliches and more than ten Weavers of Fate!
Well... the first two campaigns for Necropolis and Haven have been completed. The Dynasty is level 29. It's time to draw some initial conclusions. As far as I'm concerned, there aren't as many bugs in the game as everyone says. In my opinion, only one is significant: the inability to use enhanced griffons for area-of-effect attacks! Everything else is quite tolerable. The game's plot is engaging, but after I completed the campaign for Anastasia, playing as Anton felt different; you start to guess what will happen next, and what it all leads to. I also don't really like the length of the missions in the campaigns. There are only 4 of them, but to gather the maximum experience for the Dynasties, you need to spend 6 hours on each mission! And that's discouraging... So far, that's all. I like the game, I like everything... but I feel that it might get boring after a couple of months...
question: is there a button to reset skills, and how often can it be used? I've already used it once, and now it doesn't work. But I'm enjoying the game; I haven't spent this much time playing a game in a long time.
