It's a strange question, considering the time when the game was released and most people started playing it; the graphics were excellent. This is where the engaging campaign, the game's design, and its spirit come from... No, it's magnificent. It's a shame that Heroes 3 and Might and Magic 8 were the last games in the series that contained something interesting and original. After that, it's all just pop... And finally: the only "Heroes" project that required payment – the infamous "Props" – also gained a bad reputation due to a Trojan on the website. And preliminary fundraising for some project is the first and most reliable sign that the public is simply being "scammed"! :(

And people will play the third game regardless of the graphics. The game is made in such a way that you admire it even without all the flashy effects and embellishments. And if someone manages to make the graphics look more modern, but still equally beautiful and, most importantly, vibrant, and without any new additions to the game (which everyone loves to make), then they will have my lifelong respect for that.
