I hate to disappoint you, but vulnerability to darkness prevents Orcs from being considered overpowered. While you can still fight against mind control and blindness, they are left with only magic resistance as a defense against mass dispel/curse effects.

I agree with Skull only in that his statements are true for maps of average size or smaller, and even then, only if the opponent isn't too evenly matched in experience. As the map size increases, things become more complicated for both the Orcs and other factions.
