On Dungeon? Isn't it just the Bandit competition going on there? What are their plans for the maps? Will you guys finish this by spring?

I suggest holding a tournament on the original or tournament version. The maps should definitely not be fixed. We can use the built-in generator (although I don't like this option). It's better to use IRMG or, at worst, play on a fan-made map. We'll devise the tournament scheme based on the number of potential participants and their skill levels. I can take on the organization and judging (I have enough experience). What do you think about this, players?

Well, personally, that would be great for me. A tournament designed for average players, and not for TE masters, would be very welcome. Otherwise, in tournaments like "Good vs Evil," there is definitely nothing for someone like me to do. :)
In general, standard version 3.1, the map generator should also be standard, but we could try using "foreign" templates.

Well, it's clear here – it's all because people are put off by the prospect of having to learn something new, install mods into the game, figure them out, and so on. So, in our case with "foreign" templates, it's best to explain as simply as possible how to use them, because who knows – maybe there are people who would like to play, but have never used templates before. :o

I've never played on templates; I only watched descriptions and videos on YouTube. Basically, it's just a map, but schematic rather than a picture with a landscape.

Is there a need for an online tournament? Main conditions: 1. We play on the original version of the game (choose either 1.6, 2.1, or 3.1). 2. We play without mods. 3. Tournament participants are those who have not participated in a tournament on HW in version 5 in the last 2 years, and of course, newcomers. The format can be whatever you want. If the number of participants allows, a group stage + playoff stage (using a simple Olympic system) would be the most preferable. Experienced players from other sites will not participate in this tournament. Let's discuss, suggest, and share our ideas. I will take on the organization, conduct, and judging of the future tournament.
