Team Tournament "Back to Back"
1. Organizational matters:
1.1. Host, judge - BAJIEHOK (ICQ: 561072253), judge - Dubrovin Pavel (ICQ: 482071082)
1.2. Information about the tournament progress will be updated once a week - on Mondays.
1.3. The host has the right to make any changes to the regulations and rules during the tournament.
1.4. The host has the right to refuse participation to any player without publicly explaining the reasons.
2. Regulations:
2.1. The tournament is held in independent groups: SoD and WoG, within each group games are played in a round-robin system. The number of groups and the playoff format will be determined after registration ends.
2.2. To register, you need to submit an application (participant nicknames, account numbers, game version, convenient time for games) in this thread or via ICQ to the host.
Registration will last until September 8, 2010, at 7:00 PM Moscow time.
The draw will take place live on September 8, 2010, at 8:00 PM Moscow time.
2.3. The first round starts on September 9, 2010, and lasts until September 19, 2010.
Subsequent rounds have 7 days allocated; the critical time for playing is Saturday night. In case one of the teams does not show up at this time (before 1:00 AM Moscow time), the judges determine the winner (this will be based on which team is present in the created Hamachi networks). If both teams fail to appear twice in a row, the team is disqualified from the tournament.
2.4. For each completed match, participants must provide a report and confirmation in the group or via ICQ to the host. Save files of all matches must be saved until the end of the tournament and provided upon request by the host.
2.5. 1 point is awarded for a win, 0.5 points for a draw (a draw is only counted if reports are submitted by both participants), and 0 points for a loss.
3. Game Version.
3.1. We play on the Jebus cross map template, size L, weak monsters (this item is under discussion and may change).
3.2. Map Template Features:
-Restart allowed at the player's request if their only path leads to GO. This is granted on the day the fact is discovered.
-Restart allowed at the player's request if there is no path to the central treasure zone. This is granted on the day the fact is discovered.
-Restart due to slow paths. Granted if either opponent requests it immediately after the map generation.
-Players on the same team can move between their zones without any restrictions. Using "Wings of Angel" and the spells "Flight" and "Dimension Door" when moving to a zone not belonging to the team is allowed only if the guard between them has been broken.
-In case of buggy passages between zones, passage to an adjacent zone is possible only if GO in the center has been broken from both zones.

3.3. Differences for the SoD group: 4 minutes per turn, 2 Dimension Doors per day on Air Expert.
3.4. Differences for the WoG group: chess time 2000+300 (this number is under discussion and may change), no experience, classes, tax or bank, medium roads.
3.5. Restarts: one 111 restart per team (this item may change).
With mutual agreement and prior arrangement, the rules can be changed, with the exception of the map template and the rule about fair play.
4. Ban.
4.1. One player from each team is banned.
4.2. A list of factions is written for each team (totaling 2*9=18 castles). After that, players take turns crossing them out until there are two uncrossed ones left in each list – these will be the ones they play. At the same time, you can cross out both "bad" factions from your list and "good" ones from the opponent's list. The ban sequence is as follows: 1-2...-2-1. The player indicated first in the draw starts.
Example from a real game:
Dirty_Player ?(20.03.2009 21:42):
your necro
Forrest ?(20.03.2009 21:42):
your necro swamp
Dirty_Player ?(20.03.2009 21:43):
my dungeon and rampart
Forrest ?(20.03.2009 21:44):
your tower and conflux
Dirty_Player ?(20.03.2009 21:45):
Your castle + tower
Forrest ?(20.03.2009 21:45):
your inferno my dungeon
Dirty_Player ?(20.03.2009 21:47):
Your conflux + rampart
Forrest ?(20.03.2009 21:48):
my inferno
In the end, there are 2 castles left: Dirty has castle + stronghold, Forrest has swamp + stronghold. Within the team, we choose who plays which.
If teams have crossed out the same castles (stronghold in the example), they either agree on who takes which hero as a starting one or take a random hero. The rule does not apply to different castles (castle and swamp in the example).
5. Disputed moments.
5.1. If any arise, please discuss them outside the forum, i.e., first contact the host via ICQ.
5.2. Judicial decisions are made based on seasonal rules, elementary logic, and ethical behavior. In any non-standard situation, the host assumes responsibility for making a fair decision.
5.3. The host reserves the right to make any changes to the tournament regulations unilaterally without explanation.
6. Awards:
Prize for the team that comes in 1st place: 2 T-shirts with player nicknames on the back. And maybe a picture on the front :)
