Most likely, they will keep the cavalry units in the form of "knights" and "paladins".
For example, in "King's Bounty: Armored Princess", there is a hero class called "Paladin" and a unit called "paladin".
So, as I understand it, the monks have been replaced with priestesses! Or not? But if there are no angels, the fans will criticize it!

Priestesses can be used as is, or you can use something like "daughters of light".
In the third and fourth parts, at least, there were both.
And half-naked, busty girls will attract the buyer more than some monks.
In my opinion, they will attract more attention from those who are easily titillated, while fans will play the game anyway.
They will likely bring back the classic Knights/Cavalry - Champions.
I think it's a flaw of the developers. It seems there is also an Archmage skill (I don't remember, it's been a while since I played), even though there is a unit with the same name.

In general, I would like to see an angel/archangel to compare it with Heroes 5, in my opinion, the best angels in the series are there. It's quite possible, and even for "Champions." Although "Paladins" are much better.
As for me, there's no flaw. One doesn't interfere with the other.
I'd also like to see an angel/archangel and compare it to Heroes 5; in my opinion, the angels there are the best in the series.
For example, in the third game, half of the hero models were scantily clad women with a size 5 bust. And yet, despite this, many consider the third game to be the best installment. So, the connection is quite obvious.
Not better, there's already a similar hero class.
It's distracting; they could at least add an epithet for the hero. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

Well, in the fifth game, they at least stayed closer to the original source, meaning they look gender-neutral.
What's illogical about that?
As far as I know, the angels from Heroes of Might and Magic V were particularly criticized because they were made female.
Otherwise, it doesn't make sense. Imagine there's a two-handed sword, a "regular" sword, and a magic sword, but they're all just called "sword," and they even look similar. Exactly, that's what I'm talking about.
The faces are definitely female, and there might be breasts, but it's hard to judge by the shape of the breastplate. But look at the hands. And in general, I think they were supposed to be genderless creatures.

You can only judge angels by their faces; archangels are completely covered. I also think angels are genderless beings.
No, archangels also have clearly visible faces (at least on the icon ;)). And it suits a kind, young nun better than a sexless assistant of God.
There was a heated debate on some other forum about the angels in "Heroes of Might and Magic V". They concluded that the angels were indeed designed as female. Moreover, it's evident from their appearance. Another question is how to depict someone as genderless. But the idea that angels are a genderless being was taken as an axiom in that debate.
