What's illogical about that?

It's illogical. Imagine there's a two-handed sword, a "regular" sword, and a magical sword, but they're all just called "sword," and they even look similar. Exactly, that's what I'm talking about.

As far as I know, the angels from Heroes of Might and Magic V were particularly criticized because they were made female.

Their faces are certainly feminine, and there might be breasts, but it's hard to tell from the shape of the breastplate. But look at their hands. And in general, I think they should have been genderless creatures.
