Problem with patch 3.1! It says "Game not installed," even though Tribes of the East (3.0) is installed on the computer, and it's from a genuine, licensed "Gold Edition."

perhaps the patch wasn't made for the gold edition :)

I know what the problem is: if it's a pirated copy, it might not work. if it's a licensed copy, check the disc to see which company published it. In my case, the publisher was Buka, so I had to download patch 3.1 from Buka's website, and that helped.

Licensed version - the story of two worlds (all 4 and 5 heroes). Versions 2 and 3 are installed. I downloaded updates to 3.1 from here: http://patches.ubi.com/heroes_might_magic_5/. When I launch the game, the update is unpacked, and then it says "Game not installed." Accordingly, I can't play online - everyone else has version 3.1.

I read the forum - there was a similar topic. In that topic, someone proved that the person had a pirated disc. Mine is not pirated! The disc cost 600 rubles, it had a poster with troops, and a key for a prize draw, which I sent to BUKA, and they sent me keys for online play.

I tried playing with a friend in the unupdated version 3.0 - he also has 3.0. I create a game, he joins, and then the server kicks him out after 5 seconds. If he creates a game, it kicks me out

I don't know. Maybe the release dates are different, BUT the first part is installed with version 1.6, the second part with version 2.1, and the third part with version 3.0.

Well, this is an old problem with disks from Буки – only the "native" Буки patch works for them, which you unsuccessfully tried to find on ubisoft.com.
