New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Well, you've certainly come up with something interesting:eek:
I don't care what corner they're in, the main thing is that the Dungeon and Inferno castles are located underground, and all the others are on the surface... Let's say, okay, the Academy was forced to move underground, but then they should change the city's background from clouds to an underground setting... Entering a city that is underground and seeing clouds or mountains with the sun (Sylvan) around you is a bit unnatural, IMHO. It's confusing – you don't know if you're underground, in the sky, or somewhere else.
It's not necessary for them to be only underground. And it's not necessary to change the background.
This won't give much, except for problems with reworking.
Imagine your Belarus underground... Every day, when you look out the window or leave your house, you would only see a dungeon and never see sunlight or the surface you are so used to... You would say you want to go back to the surface, and I would say - but what difference does it make, what's there and what's here, it's all the same, and dealing with relocating you to the surface would be a big hassle...
That's how I feel after reading your post...
})There's no need to exaggerate like that. It's just a game. No matter what kind, it is a game. And castles should be placed ABSOLUTELY randomly. Again, so that this very game is less predictable.
You see, Heroes isn't just a game for me; it's a complete world where you feel like you're living and existing for those 7 or 8 hours (depending on how long you play)... I don't perceive it as a "game," but rather as an immersion in that same "other fantasy reality," a replacement for the reality we humans find ourselves in each morning when we wake up and start a new day... You see it as a game, and you don't care, but when I see these flaws with the cities, I also start to perceive Heroes of Might and Magic 5 as a game, and I don't like that :)
I hope I've explained it clearly and understandably.
))I think a normal game length is 20 hours or more. And for me, the flaw lies in the size of the maps, which makes it impossible to play for 20 hours. But what you're talking about isn't a flaw at all.
You have your own flaws, I have my own flaws, everyone has their own flaws that they see in the game.

You'll say you want to go back to the surface, and I'll say - but what difference does it make, what's there and what's here, it's all the same. It won't make much difference, and dealing with relocating you to the surface would be a huge undertaking...

Andrey! I really feel for you, but your subtle irony wasn't understood... People are too serious (or lack a sense of humor). Some (see above) have confused life with the game so much that they want to bury an entire country (notice, our country!).
Oh, by writing this message, I've turned into a Minotaur.
Exactly! Let's all unite and head to America! We'll conquer it and divide it! And we'll reshape the Statue of Liberty into a Russian girl with a Kokoshnik.:D
I assume this topic was created as a joke? Then it doesn't belong here. Either move it to the appropriate section or close it altogether! Andrey, what is this, in the end, this "tigrenstvo" (TIGER CUB, no offense)? At least the TIGER CUB creates its topics in the correct sections. And therefore, even if they are meaningless, they still exist.
