Firstly, Dust definitely won't gather enough points, that's why I wrote that only hope lies with NAgan – if he can manage to resolve this issue. Secondly, many Heroes players will be able to play against fixed teams; I myself only played against an opponent 3 times, and I used to be afraid that I would be crushed due to lack of knowledge, but after playing once, it became easier. So, if we register a league, a good Heroes player can raise their level in a couple of weeks to put up a fight against the fixed teams. The main thing is desire!
It's their right, of course, but I've seen comparisons between football and hockey – the League will have 14-15 easy points (with 5 teams of 8 players each) in that case. And where is the guarantee that the Baev team won't also put up fixed teams against the others? Then it will just be an internal Baev showdown with the sign "League-Baev":D
The chances of succeeding against the people who drew these maps and played them until they were worn out (I even heard of cases where they dug up the Grail on map 111 – guys from my city, which isn't even a center for Heroes) are extremely slim. And, frankly, I have no desire to do that.
By the way, what are your thoughts on the 2-2-2 format? There will be a total of 8 games (each player plays 2 games), and the final result will accurately reflect the overall performance: how well players perform using "foreign" and "familiar" rules, and it will also be possible to say that the competition will not be divided into two parts.
4. Where do we get these teams? We need to attract foreigners!
Here are the goals, in my opinion. Based on these goals, we need to define the concept and tasks. to Nagan: By allowing people to set their own goals, we risk chaos and disorganization, with everyone going their own way, which could lead to a significant potential conflict... More specifically: Yielding to Bay's "ultimatum" regarding certain games on TE-full is a dead end for the interportal idea, and it limits the potential scalability of the project. It moves us away from the goal of achieving a truly international status. Instead of expanding contacts and finding common ground (even Balance, as one of the main templates, is a good sub-task – developing Universal Rules), the best players in the World are drawn into a local, closed-off (well, 20-25 constantly playing, and even if it's 40 players, it's not a big loss) version of TE-full. This is wrong, and it won't help us achieve our goals. If the Bay players (some of the strongest players in the Russian-speaking internet, without a doubt) really want to play their homegrown version (yes, yes, I know, it's sacred and untouchable) – let it be optional, not counted in the overall standings (for example, three TE players, not counted towards the score, as a way to popularize their vision of the game). And those guys from Bay who aren't so sectarian – let them form their own team on SOD (which the rest of the world plays, and that's a fact, even if they have to rage about it). In the worst-case scenario – if the TE apologists win and don't compromise – we play some games on TE (while forcing both HW and World to frantically look for supporters of the local version – bending over backward, so to speak, out of respect) – exclude Bay from this interportal. It's bad, but going along with their demands and losing sight of the interportal's goals is worse. Think about it, Nagan :)
Samurai, Samurai, yes, he surrendered, don't worry about us, you should be worried about yourself ;-) You say you'll learn to play in 2 weeks... hmm!? Well, go ahead and try playing against the same Expert, or against LoM, or against Jam, or against Guardians ;-)
Тот, кто борется - может проиграть, кто нет - проиграл уже (с) В прошлом "Координатор турниров Лиги Героев" (www.heroesleague.ru)
Going along with Bay's "ultimatum" about some games on TE-full is a dead-end development path for the interportal idea, a loss of potential project scalability. It distances the goal of achieving a truly international status.
Regarding scalability and international status - read the link to HeroesCommunity, where SAG is recruiting a team (link above in the topic). And also the neighboring threads of that resource, including the thread of the previous match.
The mood of the people there is quite clear. For example, "I want in. SoD or TE does not matter. Rules does not matter. Templates does not matter :)" (sic). That's who you should take an example from.
By the way, if you're interested in my opinion, I'm actually much more afraid of WCL than HP and HW. Including because of this kind of position - as I understand it, they've played quite a few games on TE there.

Samurai, Samurai, forget about that League, don't worry about us, worry about yourself ;-) You say you'll learn to play fixed in 2 weeks... hm!? Well, try playing LOM with the same Expert, or Djam, or some Guardians ;-)
Uh-huh. I drew the MvM map myself, tuned it myself, and before the game with Expert (at the last league tournament) I trained on it for exactly one Castle out of 8, simply because I knew Expert's opinion on how to play here, and as a result predicted his bet and color choice absolutely accurately. And I still lost.
Because Expert's level of no-lifing is no lower, and in a couple of complex non-obvious situations on the 2nd week, his higher fixed experience showed.
So I sympathize with anyone who tries to "master" the entire layer of fixed strategies, all the TE features on fixed maps in 2 weeks, not to mention the league fixed maps themselves (which are an order of magnitude more complex than the fixed maps from SoY).
I'll share my opinion. 1. Regarding the division of the game into "home" and "away" fields — I understand, accept, and even approve. 2. However, the version of the game must be the same. This is no longer about the field — it's like what I wrote on Bay: we play football on our own field, but field hockey on the opponent's. At this rate, we'll end up with the Olympic Games ;) . 3. Therefore, only the rules can be set as part of "home" game resources (although it would be more practical to reduce all differences and restrictions to a minimum to avoid confusion), and a template seems most appropriate to me.
Thus, playing SoD or even TE-lite (not full), each resource sets its own template where they consider themselves strongest and equates it to playing on their "home" field. And all the changes included in TE-full — that' same as changing the sport for which the Competitive events are held.
Samurai, Samurai, but this Dungeon faction has given up, don't worry about us, you should be worried about yourself ;-) You say you'll learn to play in 2 weeks... hmm!? Well, try playing against an Expert in Lords of Magic, or Jam, or Guardians ;-)
Agreed, you assemble a team from the Dungeon faction, and I'll play against an Expert in Lords of Magic in a tournament match! Do you agree?
Once, Balamut, while organizing the first match of "Baya" against foreign teams, said some golden words: " "To prove that we are the strongest, we need to defeat our opponent according to their rules, and on their territory." Since then, our team has won ALL inter-portal competitions in which it has participated, and has always played (except for a friendly tournament, which I also organized) according to the opponents' rules! To date, there is no doubt that the "Baya" team is the strongest inter-portal team among those it has played against! (and this includes VKL, Portal, and World) And if there are really people here who want to challenge this with actions rather than just words (because this tournament is organized to determine the strongest!!!), then we would like to play according to our rules as well (including the TE version, on which 90% of "Baya" games are played)!
