Play a couple of practice games with someone, and you'll understand everything: on many maps, engagements with ranged units start right from the beginning, and if you also create roads to the opponent, the games will end very quickly.

This is definitely the majority of fixes; if there isn't a serious game-over scenario, you can easily finish on the first difficulty level, even if the map size is M or L. I remember finishing games at 112 turns, not to mention 113 on Guardians (this refers to battles, not losses), and there were intense rushes on MvM.

I remember in that same Might and Magic game, Vic was planning to remove the road from the tavern village to the swamp castle.

In the new version, I simply placed stronger guards on it. Let the road live; come visit on the 2nd week, but it's too difficult on the 1st week, so it's better to come by sea.

Can anyone provide maps?! With the game rules on them.

It would be better to remove "Battle For Glory" or replace it with something else. It's just awful, not a map at all. It's completely unplayable.

The rest is okay, although some parts are amusing, and some make you want to fix obvious flaws (like random villages).
