What are you talking about? What “TE” are you referring to? Only SOD :D Find like-minded people; you can’t drain this “swamp” alone.

If we bring the "Light" version as close as possible to the "SOD + buttons" state, I think we can convince any SOD player to play on it. And the organizers should be in favor of it, as it would allow for more accurate time management for the game.
In its current form, the "Light" version has significant differences from SOD, and these are more like unfinished aspects that Vic intended to fix, rather than deliberate improvements – incorrect lizard growth, incorrect skills for some Necropolis heroes, and possibly something else.

TE players will continue to play on TE, and SoD players will play on SoD, but for joint tournaments, this would be an ideal solution, reconciling the parties.

If circumstances allow, I'd be happy to participate from Ukraine. But preferably something light.

While in Kyiv, they are gathering pure SOD players.

In SoD, a weaker player has much more chances to win than in TE! If we are organizing a serious tournament, then TE. But if we just want to have some beer and hang out, then SoD is fine. IMHO, of course :)

SoD is a good version, it's popular. For fun, offline, extreme, and pleasant emotions - it's up to everyone and what they prefer.

But for a tournament, in a club, TE is much more suitable. Randomness plays a smaller role in determining the result. In SoD, a weaker player has many more chances to win than in TE! If we are organizing a serious tournament, then TE. But if we just want to drink beer and hang out, then SoD is fine. IMHO, of course :)
