In SoD, a weaker player has much more chances to win than in TE! If we are organizing a serious tournament, then TE. But if we just want to have some beer and hang out, then SoD is fine. IMHO, of course :)

I'll share my IMHO. In TE-lite, it's just as difficult to win as in SoD, but in lite, the turns are faster than in SoD. IMHO, TE-lite 600+300 with battles is better than SoD 2 minutes, because time in TE passes even during the battle, and time is not spent on a chain, as in SoD.
P.S. Regarding the limit, I meant it for having some beer. More time is needed with a clear head.
