I would also participate, but I'm on the TE side. SOD is a good version, it's popular. Fun, offline, extreme, and pleasant emotions - it's up to everyone to choose what they like best. But for a tournament, in a club, TE is much more suitable. Randomness plays a smaller role in determining the result. In SOD, a weaker player has many more chances to win than in TE! If we are organizing a serious tournament, then TE. But if we just want to drink beer and hang out, then SOD is fine. IMHO, of course.
