A small problem appeared after reinstalling Windows XP:
On the Ubi website, I can't view my profile or any other player's profile; it says "failed to create profile." However, I can still play the game.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Problem installing patch 3.01. An error occurs:
"The game Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Tribes of the East is not installed. Cannot install the update."
I downloaded the patch for the Russian version of the game from the official website.
Perhaps the issue is that I reinstalled the operating system, and the patch is looking for keys in the registry and using them to determine whether the game is installed or not? I tried unpacking the data1 and data2 archives and replacing the files manually, but I can't do it with WinRar or 7z.

As a rule, all saves are preserved and are located in the My Documents/My Games/Heroes of Might and Magic V folder. This is generally the case for most games; even if you uninstall the game, the saves will remain (but it's still better to copy them to a disk or somewhere else).

In general, it’s better not to keep your “My Documents” folder on the C drive (in my opinion). That way, even if you reinstall Windows and format the drive, all the contents of the folder, including saves for Heroes and Civilization, will be preserved.

Most likely, you have a pirated copy of the game (if it's a physical disc and not an image downloaded from the internet) – about 90%.
There is also a possibility that the patch is corrupted or taken from an unofficial source, or for some other reason, it is not installed correctly on the game – about 10%.
Try completely reinstalling the game and patching it. Similar questions have already been asked on the forum, and reinstallation has yielded positive results :) (if you have a 100% legitimate copy, there should be no problems:rolleyes: )
