Posts from Haven discussion.
Peasants - taxpayers and potential archers (// knights, monks, cavalry).
Archers (crossbowmen) - decent shooters.
Knights - with their "Big Shield" ability, decent defense, and health, they are very useful for defense; they don't need to run anywhere, as there are others in the human army to attack.
Griffins - with their "Dive" attack, they are a headache not only for the enemy's shooters.
Monks (incas) - shooters (not great for level 5, of course), casters, and mini-tanks.
Cavalry (paladins) - well, everyone knows about them already.
Archangels - far from being the weakest and most useless level 7 unit.
+ Training and Counterattack Skill. + Light and Dark magic in the guild.
Archers (crossbowmen) are decent ranged units.
That's putting it mildly. When I played against the Elves (Sylvan), 640 archers took down 40 Ents (units) from close range! Without luck, but with a blessing. From a distance, they could kill 5-8 of them! And the enemy hero wasn't any better than mine in terms of defense!

In this sense, the elves are very strong; I would even say too strong!
Of course! 640 archers? That's quite a few. But if there were as many Sylvan archers! They would defeat twice as many! In this sense, the elves are very strong, I would even say too strong!

P.S. может мне и предложили, просто я не помню :smile44:
I compared... how long will it take you to gather 600 archers? People will do it much faster...

Who's arguing? Of course, it's very difficult to accumulate 600 of them! I just wanted to point out the weakness of crossbowmen against the "eared brothers." In that patch, their level differs by only 1 unit. So, the statement that crossbows are strong ranged units is only appropriate when there are a huge number of them! ;)
They only differ from elves by 1 level, but the growth rate... (if you count them together with the peasants :))

1) Titans (6 шт)
2) Liches (18 шт)
3) Druids (30 шт)
4) Witches (the most useless sixth-level creatures) (12 шт)
5) Archmagi (thanks to Fireball) (30 шт)
6) Bowmasters (Forest Elves) (50 шт)
7) Succubi (40 шт)
8) Crossbowmen (better than skeleton archers in quality, and assassins in quantity) (120 шт)
9) Skeleton Archers (take on the assassins with numbers) (250 шт)
10) Assassins (70 шт)
11) Gremlins (120 шт)
Although perhaps the order is wrong, correct me if I'm mistaken.
(for this tactic to work, a starting town of level 3 is required; in the prize menu - resources and no hiring of troops for 2 weeks)
1) archery tower
2) blacksmith
3) barracks
4) town hall
5) griffon tower
6) peasant farms
7) Stronghold
8) main building
9) stables
10) level 1 mages guild
11) monastery
12) hippodrome
13) market
the next day you will have a capitol and buildings for all creatures of levels 1-6.
P.S. You also need to capture the quarry and sawmill. To do this, you can hire 2 heroes for 2500 and take their units.
(this will be enough to capture the sawmill and quarry)
And by the way, what difficulty level is your strategy for? "Warrior"? :)
What is this even supposed to be??
And the difficulty level seems to be not even "Warrior", but "Recruit".
8) Main building
What is this even supposed to be??
And the difficulty level is probably not even "Warrior," but "Recruit."
Why is it that when I play as Haven in "War," I manage to capture mines and build a Capitol?
Especially good on large maps.
