Sniper133(life) lost to Motor (life) 1:2.
The first battle ended in my defeat, although I tried my best. My recklessness was to blame – I didn't drink a potion before the battle. As a result, I got upset and started making even more mistakes. First, in the first round, the tactic was a complete failure – he gave the angels a speed boost, which the enemy tactic ruined with a bottle of sticky goo, and then, instead of casting a normal spell on the paladins, he decided to throw sticky goo at the enemy angels :D. And that's how it went – I didn't drink a potion because I don't like them. And the opponent killed my tactic and poured acid on him. That's when I completely lost. The opponent played the battle at the highest level.
The second battle, on the standard map, only started on the second attempt because the purple faction, which I was playing, had a bug in the script for choosing the second level (which I described in the main thread of the tournament discussion). I tried to take ballistas, but the hero got blocked and couldn't go any further. After restarting, I chose pikemen – and there was another bug, but this time the heroes were able to proceed, so I decided to go into battle without the second level.
The battle turned out to be very long, intense, and incredibly interesting. The opponent immediately took the initiative under his control and, with his strike stacks (crusaders and angels), rushed in and killed my crusaders in the first two rounds, after which they were successfully covered in acid by the enemy tactic. I was already discouraged, but then I started to wriggle out of it as much as possible. My angels gained incredible power with buffs, constantly supported by the paladin. They cut down the crusaders and angels of Sniper left and right, depleting the enemy priest with each round – because resurrection is an incredibly expensive pleasure – mana drains very quickly. The strike stacks of Sniper, after crushing my small units, ran back to their heroes – to lick their wounds and resurrect. Then my angels flew into the enemy camp and began to slowly but surely destroy Sniper's units. And the mana of the enemy's life mage was running out. The enemy tactic was even killed, but my tactic didn't have time to cover him in acid, and his life mage, having spent the last mana, raised him. By this time, almost all of the enemy's units had been destroyed by my angels.
My angels were also killed – but now my life mage, with a grimace on his face, spent the last mana and raised almost the entire stack, although all the buffs had already been lost – I missed it because they had been torn to shreds before that, but luckily they didn't have time to cover them in acid. The remaining units of Sniper were successfully finished off by the angels, who also perished there.
In the end, only the heroes remained (and 2 crusaders for Sniper :D). But his heroes had arrows – my tactic no longer had any arrows at this time, but he had a "heal" spell in his arsenal. In addition, my heroes were much better buffed. And the enemy tactic had no buffs at all. In general, one way or another, my heroes crawled to the enemy heroes and defeated them with their swords. That's how the incredible battle to the last ended :D.
Well, since it came to the third battle, let's say "the last battle is the hardest" (as they say), I had to sit down and think, even to the point of a couple of test one-on-one battles :D.
As a result of my reflections, I brought two half-stacks of angels and the rest of the units into the battle against the standard life faction (crusaders + angels + all the riffraff), with the exception of ballistas, because I thought they wouldn't make any difference at all. The battle was not as drawn out as the second, but it was just as interesting. In the first two rounds of the battle, there was an exchange of life mages, irrevocably – they poured acid on each other's corpses. From the two stacks of angels, I sent one to the completely exposed tactic of Sniper – all his army went to surround my hero. I, accordingly, tried to protect him – with my own and enemy units, even the fakes I learned in the seminary came in handy :D. For a couple of rounds, until one of the most dangerous stacks (in this case, it was the crusaders) was almost completely destroyed, my tactic sat behind his and enemy units like a cat on a hot tin roof – neither the enemy angels nor the crusaders could reach him. At the same time, my crusaders and a stack of angels went and killed the opponent's tactic. He was immediately raised by the angels... and killed again. By this time, almost nothing remained of the enemy's army – about 15 angels + riffraff. I, in turn, happily spent the last resurrection from the angels, raised half a stack of my crusaders, and moved all this to finish off the remaining army of Sniper, but the battle ended at this point, because the opponent admitted defeat.
Thank you for the game. I especially enjoyed the second battle
