New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
We can create two versions – a simple one and a good one. Send Ubisoft the simple version (without a third tier) and the good version (with a third tier). Maybe they will accept at least the simplified version. And we can try to create a version with a third tier ourselves.
That’s what I’m saying – we’ll do everything first, then translate it and create a compromise version. For now, we need to decide what needs to be fixed.
P.S. How’s the world creation going?
I suggest a description of how the faction is structured. The Neptunes are descendants of the inhabitants of Tatallia, who fled underground and deeper after the cataclysm, for which they were also blamed. Underwater, they found a new world inhabited by turtles, tritons, crocodiles, krakens, and underwater spiders. Being peaceful by nature, they were able to tame or befriend the underwater inhabitants. And even after they encountered the Thing, they were able to coexist.
What else didn't quite fit together?
If the underground sea is not connected to the surface, then the inconsistency disappears. You can descend into the underworld through passages in the Dungeon. Movement there will be possible thanks to the skills acquired for underwater walking. So, everything seems to be fine here.
If we're talking about a land-based sea, then it could be done like this. The Fortress faction could have the ability to create a ship right on the shore (the ship would serve as a symbol of a unified army, preventing them from scattering in different directions). Other factions could buy or summon a ship, while the Fortress faction would simply create one. This could be one of their unique abilities.
But then there really is an imbalance. Maybe we should still make the Fortress units able to sail on ships, just faster. Or give the land races the ability to sail on ships better.
