I have the most normal parents—not ordinary, but just own-brand normal. I've seen and continue to see that they try to make me and my sister normal people; they didn't control us every single step of the way, although they didn't allow everything either (and when I allowed things for myself, I got a spanking :) ). So, they are absolutely indifferent to what I do on the internet and why I need a forum—they say that I am an adult now and should think and be responsible for myself))("As long as you study well":) )—at least they trust me, and I try not to abuse their trust...
Only my father sometimes looks at the forum and asks: "What are you doing there? Looking at naked girls again?:o ))Yeah!)-I answer)-Well, thank God, at least it's not men)))"
P.S: the last paragraph is a joke, just in case...

My parents have no idea what I'm doing here...
They don't use the internet themselves, so all they know is that I'm online, but they have no idea where or how.

I'm so lucky! Almost as lucky as Stan, except without the last paragraph, and my dad used to be a programmer. And they approve of me spending time on the forum instead of browsing all sorts of websites and hanging out in chats (don't kick me, but I can't chat properly, except for the forum's mini-chat).

Dad doesn't care at all; he has his "news" to read. And Mom didn't approve at first, but then I told her what we talk about here and showed her the "philosophy" thread... Now, when Mom sees me at the computer, she sometimes asks: "Have you stopped playing your Heroes? Have you given up on philosophy?" - so naive.

My mom doesn't care because the computer is mine, and no one else uses it but me.

lol)) Let's create a thread about what our parents think about the internet instead? Mine have no idea.

Frankly, I don't really care that I have competition for the internet – my mom. She's into embroidery and downloads all sorts of stuff related to it.

- Stop playing games!!! Go wash the dishes....
- I'll wash them myself... I'm improving my skills....

I live separately from my parents, so they have no idea which online resources I visit. In general, they have a positive attitude towards the internet as a source of information, but they are more negative about spending time online just for communication, as they see it as an escape from reality.

My mom is completely unfamiliar with computers and doesn't even have a basic understanding of what a "forum" is, and she only has a vague idea of what the "internet" is. My dad, on the other hand, is much more tech-savvy and knows that I enjoy communicating online. I haven't noticed any explicit disapproval from him, but when he's in a bad mood or just wants to pick a fight, the argument "you should be doing... instead of sitting at the computer and tapping on the keyboard" is used most often. I can't even remember exactly what he usually says, but sometimes it sounds quite harsh. It doesn't happen very often, but it's frankly annoying. I just want to say "I'll figure it out myself," but that wouldn't lead to a peaceful discussion, so I prefer to wait for my dad to calm down and then continue with my own activities.

About the forum, I'm neutral, but I spend a lot of time online and on the computer...
Now, about the off-topic in this thread, haha.
I'm both lucky and unlucky at the same time. Both of my parents are tech-savvy, they're programmers, so if needed, they can teach me and help me, which is a plus.
But the downside is that my parents know everything I do on the computer, they know how to cause me trouble (for example, by deleting my user account), password-protecting everything, basically depriving me of my computer completely.
And also - someone here already mentioned it, I have the same thing, in all the mistakes, my parents blame me and only me! It's me who installs malicious programs, it's me who causes glitches that require reinstalling the OS every week, it's me who's to blame for the endless internet outages... it's awful!

As a parent, I can say that this forum is excellent; thanks to it, I've met many very good people.
Soon, my son will start visiting this forum; he plays Heroes (he's already playing on "easy" and winning maps) since he was 3 years old (he's 5 now). As soon as he learns to read, I'll get him onto the forum :)

I was just reading some old jokes to a friend over the phone, and we were laughing a lot, but then my mom walked in and started listening... Well, she was initially going to call the police (03), but then she just slapped me!

Heh, sometimes my mom takes away the internet because she needs it for "Odnoklassniki," or my dad needs it to look for a job. They have a vague idea of what a forum is, but they don't really use it. Like many here, I get blamed for all the glitches and slowdowns on the computer, and often they're right.

Kids will be kids, I guess. As long as they don’t stick their fingers in the socket…
