Posts from Patch 3.1 – we’ve been waiting for it.
Did patch 3.1 live up to your expectations?
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.

A dynamic balance? What are you talking about?

The patch mainly fixes bugs, and even the small balance adjustments aren't mentioned in the read me. So, the current state remains. Well, and of course, we start waiting for patch 3.2, as announced. Such a patch will likely be released, and with it, we can expect some new content. What exactly it will be, I can't say, but most likely, it will be new maps.
I still hope that, in addition to new maps, a couple of new neutral creatures will appear. :)
Not for nothing, somewhere here on the forum, they talked about a certain lizard model added to the game archives with the new patch. Anything is possible.
I must take you down there to look at them too
Hand in hand then we'll jump right into that pool
Can't you see not just me they want you too.

They were talking about some kind of lizard model added to the game's archives with the new patch.
PS I just tried windowed mode - and it really is a great thing!
PPS Another pleasant innovation - starting with 3.1, the game runs without a disc.

I appreciated the windowed mode. It's great.

So far, almost the only thing I didn't quite like is the rather strange behavior of the neutrals regarding the Crystal and invisible units. Sometimes they attack the Crystal, sometimes they look for invisible units, and sometimes they just stand there  This "uncultured" behavior of the neutrals is a bit annoying.
And the map. Personally, I don't need it at all.
But overall, it's a pretty good update. Although it could have been better.
But I must say, the invisible mechanic against the AI has become more interesting. Before, it would just stand there when all the units were invisible, and I could calmly bombard it with plague or fireballs. Now it searches for them, and sometimes even finds them:)))
Yes, I agree.
But the fact that in some cases, neutrals rush straight to the place where the hunter just disappeared, while in others they go in a completely different direction, is surprising. If the neutrals were systematically searching for invisible units, instead of jerking from one extreme to another, it would be more predictable. But now you don't know what they'll do at any given moment.
Maybe this is how it was intended (to make the AI more unpredictable), or maybe there is some logic to their behavior. But it still seems to me that this is a flaw.

Now, when fleeing the battlefield, units can leave behind artifacts.
Apparently, the hero is in a great hurry to save his life or is shedding "excess weight" to run faster :D
