I'm currently listening to Hellawes... It's very unusual... I've discovered this kind of music for myself... It's very stylish and musically simple... I like it!

And don't bash Nightwish. They're an awesome band, and *Once* is a great album: Ghost Love Score, Wish I Had an Angel, Dark Chest of Wonders, Nemo, Planet Hell, Dead Gardens, Romanucide.

My top ten favorite bands:

I listen to French Rap and Russian rock. I don't understand how these two different styles can coexist in me.

My favorite bands are El-matador and Bi-2.

My favorites are Lumen, Viva La Resistance (only a limited number of people know about it... well, the guys haven't achieved fame yet, but it has become a motto in my life. After Lumen, of course), Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Flёur %).

And I generally like bands that write good music and sing philosophical lyrics at the same time... The Rasmus (their latest album and half of the previous one), for example. Some songs by The Queen. And I also like Melnitsa. I listened to Er' until I realized that they were singing about Satan, then there was "666";). What else? Perhaps Estetic Education - they have a good sound, it's a pity I couldn't find their album "Werewolf" in any of our stores:( Makarevich is not bad... Well, and I just like to hum to myself Madonna, 2raumwohnung, Garbage, and others. To calm down, I listen to Romantic Collection, and right now I really like the song by Animals - "House of the Rising Sun." But I can't stand rap, I physically can't stand it.:)

Yes, you're right, there's no need to criticize Nightwish! The combination of metal and operatic vocals actually works well, and Tarja is amazing!
In my opinion, these are their most interesting songs:

well, if I start listing groups, it will turn out to be a very long list, but I will still try to list the best ones in order of priority:
1. Bullet for My Valentine (metalcore - super, I recommend it!)
2. Disturbed (nu-metal)

7. apocalyptica (folk?)

First, it's already "folk." Second, there's no folk influence there. It's metal, played on, um, cellos... it's hard to categorize, but it's probably closest to symphonic metal.

8. nightwish (symphonic metal)

Their latest album is more like power metal.
