When I buy a game, I look at the overall impression, and if I don't like the graphics, the genre, etc., I immediately stop playing. That's how I choose games – I see it, I evaluate it, I buy it. The graphics in Heroes III are really great! Maybe in Heroes IV and V it's more realistic, but in the third game, it's much more visually appealing.

What exactly is graphics? I've seen a ton of games with the "most advanced technologies" that turned out to be an awful mess. If you can't do it, don't even try! The main thing is that available resources should be directed in the right direction, so that it is done WELL, BEAUTIFULLY, and WITH SOUL, and not EXPENSIVELY and PRETENTIOUSLY. The third game was made... very well! It's simply a pleasure to look at. In the fourth, for example, it wasn't very good... but in the fifth, it's good again! The not-so-attractive graphics of the fourth didn't diminish my desire to play, just as the wonderful graphics of the fifth didn't add to it.
The main thing is beauty. But even if it weren't beautiful, but remained just as wonderful, I wouldn't be too upset.
