Posts from The game is running slowly even on a good system.
But now everything is fine. :smile49:
For those who encounter a similar problem, here's the solution.
My video card is integrated into the motherboard, and it has a rather complex system. To play properly, I had to install something like a patch; I don't know what else to call it. You can find it on the manufacturer's website, although this depends on the manufacturer.
So, if you encounter similar problems, find out the exact model of your card and go directly to the manufacturer's website (if you can read English at least a little). There, find your model and look for a list of software for it.
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2

I had The King's Throne (may it be cursed), and everything runs on maximum settings there. It lags like this: for example, I'm riding a horse (elephant, dinosaur), I pass through 5-6 "points," and it slightly slows down. It's like I pass through, and then 0.5 seconds later, it "throws" me a little further (it's hard to explain). Or, for example, the Castle takes 8-12 seconds to load. Especially the Dwarves and the Academy are slow.
P.S.: I play all other games on maximum graphics or "heavy" games on medium settings. For example, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
On maximum.
It is recommended to have at least 1 GB of RAM for Heroes.
I can play Oblivion on medium settings without any lag.
System: Win XP SP2
Processor: AMD Turion 64x2 1.8 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Video card: ATI X1150 256 MB + 256 MB shared memory
Hard drive: 160 GB
Since I bought it recently, the system is new.
I want to buy a new laptop, a Dell, similar to the ones Carloff and padojdi have.
Integrated video system with 1 GB of RAM (similar to Carloff), and a processor like padojdi's.
Question: should I buy it, or will Heroes 5 run very poorly?
I need an answer urgently, the sale ends tomorrow evening...
Thank you in advance,
Qwerty

So, it's better to buy another laptop that doesn't have an integrated video card!
If you want, I can give you some recommendations. If you need it urgently, you can contact Kyle and Slonysh; they have my mobile number.
I only need it for Heroes of Might and Magic V; the first four games run fine on my current computer.

It's best to have at least 1 GB of RAM for Heroes.
