Unfortunately, I couldn't overcome the "special treatment" in this game. It wasn't officially rolled, but it was felt every single second.
Everything became clear after the roll of a disease—"guy can't increase stats"—which, in the context of an expedition, is unplayable and usually means you should reroll immediately; however, I was confused by "you can make a second character." I thought that what I couldn't do with my main, I could supplement with a secondary same-race char. Alas, it didn't turn out that way.
Before the expedition started, I read some wonderful posts in the thread: "yes, yes, this will be party content," "wow, what an interesting party is expected!" I hate party content, but okay, I thought—let there be a party for once, it's been a while; many people generated loot, crafting, and enchanting, so fine—I'll adapt and won't take anything secondary, only the most useful things for war, gaming, and whatever else you want—again, for once.
Turns out, fuck that—all the players took non-party skills; I'm the only idiot sitting here with this default shit—attack something, buff something. And it would be fine if that were all, but unfortunately, the game didn't facilitate party content.
NOT A SINGLE sector can you enter without stealth-escaping-looting. NOT A SINGLE quest can you complete, NOT A SINGLE tile can you visit just for interest—yes, yes, in the best case scenario you can hope for special treatment from the GM, who will spawn something that doesn't kill you this very second, but in reality, you shouldn't expect anything sane. You have no loot, no healing, no escaping, nothing—well then, suck it, you aren't needed here.
What was that meme at the beginning? I can't find the post, but something like:
What I expected, what I got:

I got this:

What to do? Where to go? I have no idea; you can't figure it out without a solution.
Later I tried to go somewhere, but no way—the welding is on the construction site, so just sit there and fart.
When I tried to overcome this by generating a companion, it gave me some mentally retarded incel-fuckup. And then—no dude! That's all! Generation is over! Meanwhile, behind every other player is a whole army of one-//gas-huffers who can do whatever you want.
I should have jumped into the river of fire at post 500 or earlier, or killed myself by smashing my head against a rock old-school style, and rerolled a character who could actually handle loot, crafting, cooking, or anything else.
In the end, I've just been sitting at the fountain for six thousand posts. Would that be fun for you? It wasn't for me.
Well, when he beat the shit out of me at the tournament, I think even the dumbest person understands now. A second before the fight, applying 100% paralysis to a weapon against a guy with zero resist and leaving it up to not even the GM, but another person, so that I couldn't even lift my arms—that's just a boot to the face + pissing on someone while they're down. At that point, I could no longer tolerate it.
There was some plot or other, seemingly decent, characters were well-thought-out and detailed, but since playing was forbidden—unfortunately, I didn't really catch them. Some broken buddy of a Heroist wanted to achieve something, something needed to be collected by the main—I understood none of it.
I hope you finish this story in the best possible way instead of me. And if anyone other than me enjoyed it—then at least I'm glad for that.
Let's just agree that I simply didn't get this game.
Perhaps 6 people is too many for an expedition, and in that case, the GM simply lacks the strength.
